Bethenny Getting Married?

She comes up with some pretty funny remarks, but it's exhausting to see her race around. Is it Jason who is insisting upon a wedding of this size? What if they just invited family and close friends to meet them at the court house for their marriage and then went out to a restaurant afterwards?

She should have been thinking of her growing baby when she was getting so upset about this stuff. Either lower your expectations, delegate stuff or put the wedding off until later. I realize that's moot by now - she is already married, with a baby.

As I recall, they both wanted small, around 50. He said it was hard to keep it small because family and friends, she said it was hard because she had business associates and friends. Then she accused him of being combative out of nowhere.

Then she should have told him not to come. She's a grown up, she can decide who and who doesn't get to go to her hairdresser Instead, she let him come so she could use him for a punching bag. It simply does not make sense unless she wanted him around so she could bitch and act like she didn't want him around. If the planner was so bad, then why did she admit to taking her frustrations out on him? Whose idea was it to get married in a few short weeks? Not his. He's trying to get the job done and she acts like he's mean mommy making her do things she doesn't want to do. Instead of talking to him like a grown up, she sends him off so she can talk about him behind his back.

So, now she's a victim of the wedding planner? That's a riot. Tough-talking Bethenny can't handle a wedding planner.

And she looked like an idiot running around Costco. That was so fake.

She has a wedding to plan, how is she suppose to meet with her wedding planner if her schedule is booked as it is. It's not as if her assistant put him in that time frame for sh*ts & giggles, she told her 'it was the only time open for him'.

I think it's silly that the only time she could meet with the wedding planner was at the hairdresser. That's just manufactured drama right there.

Jason and Bethenny seem to compliment each other well. He seems so level headed and grounded, which I think is exactly what she needs. She definately has a smart a** sense of humor (snarky, crass) which at times may seem a bit much, but that is her sense of humor.

I am enjoying watching her at the therapist as it brings you insight as to why she is so driven and, for lack of a better word, hard. From what she says about how her parents were like, it seems that she had to create a shell for herslef in order to not be hurt by anyone in order to survive and succeed. Good for her that she has been able to be successful with her carreer. Now she seems to be successful in her personal life also. Even though she has to work at it in order to not mess it up for herself, which is why, according to her, she is going to the therapist before she needs to, not after the fact.

I find myself laughing out loud to some of her comments and actions. As for her nutty behavior, hormones are definately at play, which is not helped at all by how full her plate is. She is definately juggling more than she can really handle. She is used to being able to handle a lot, which is why she is so has been so successfule thus far, and unfortunately, that was BEFORE she was pregnant. The fact that she is pregnant, takes a lot of "control" out of her hands, hormones will do that to your life.

I thought it was so funny at Costco, she mentioned in one of her blogs that the event there was not advertised, but she did not mind as it gave her time to shop.

Her wedding was a small affair, as small as it could get being that Jason wanted to make sure all his family and friends would be able to attend, this made the wedding bigger, as the original amount of guests that Bethanny was thinking of was not that big, enough to accommodate her "friends and business associates", something like that, with the same amount alloted for Jason's friends and family. Jason didnt feel the number was enough to include all of his family and friends so they made the guest list larger.

Looking forward to more episodes.

I thought her comments to the two ladies in the casino were a little uncalled for and then to make a smart comment when one of them fell down was rather mean. The lady could have fractured her spine for all she knew.

I think the lady was super drunk which I'm going to guess is why Bethenny didn't really react that shocked when she saw she had fallen. Drunk people are very annoying when one is sober.

This is why I love reality TV. Because I can snark, and, by and large, whomever I'm snarking deserves it. Why watch it otherwise? These people are certainly nothing to aspire to, and are rarely well-adjusted, nice or even happy.

I do like to keep my comments limited to the show and it's characters, and not to other posters. After all, this would be the appropriate forum in which to comment to the show, good or bad.

I have a question.

I realize that we all gain weight, even in the face, when we are pregnant.
Bethenny, however, seems to have gained some huge puffs around either side of her face.
Does anybody know what they are?
I know she normally has an unusual shaped face, but this looks very strange.

I wasn't saying anything about you. I just made an assumption (apparently a wrong one) that someone would not willingly watch something that they thought as so awful that they could only bear to watch it in 30 second spurts.

That is my business, certainly not yours. Therefore it is personal. I would not presume to speculate why or why not anyone would watch anything if they are discussing about it in a forum for which the topic is designed. I watch it willingly because I want to. I snark about it willing because I want to. There's reason enough.

Bethenny's show is as good & funny as the RHouswives used to be. Love her sharp wit, she makes me laugh. She can be very funny w/o being mean, so I cringe a little when she snipes at people.

I hope Jason is gutsy and strong, and can keep smoothing her ragged edges; they're a cute couple and I want Bethenny to stop being so hard on him. She needs this marriage to last!
