Heather was being so obnoxious, nosy, buttinski and all around bitch. She was honed in on Bethenny the nano-second she walked in.

Shut UP Heather. FTLOG, just leave her aloneeeeee!!! She didn't want a big deal made over the fish, she didn't want ATTENTION, she didn't need any help from anyone and by all means, she just doesn't want to have heavy convos all the time. What can't Heather understand?!

I felt so bad for Bethenny.

How is it a heavy conversation to suggest other foods in the kitchen for a person who made a slight spectacle of declaring that she could not eat the entree at a dinner? Well, I guess if Heather was suggesting alfredo, cheesecake and other heavy dishes that may be considered heavy.

The heavy I saw was Heather being heavy-handed trying to "help" Bethenny. Heather's striving to become B's friend, not being accustomed to being the weak player in the group, but handling in poorly, not thinking it through, trying wayyyy to hard. Bethenny probably would neither like Heather nor detest her if H just kept her mouth shut.

I would kinda feel sorry for both Heather and Bethenny in this situation, but they're both so full of themselves, it's just interesting to just watch them like specimens- to see how it plays out.

I can see what you're saying. In many ways, Heather and Bethenny's biggest problem is that they got off on the wrong foot, and now they can't seem to find their footing. When Bethenny was announced to be joining the cast, I said that I expected there to be tension because she's be coming on thinking she was the star as an original, and women who joined the cast after her would feel like she was the newbie. Like you said, the conflict between the two of them stems from that.

The nanny was with them for 9 years and specialized in children with special needs. I believe she has been with Jax almost since infancy. Heather wasn't comparing, she was just pointing out everyone has crap they have to deal with.

I hope I haven't said this before, but if I have please forgive me, I'm old.

These women need to familiarize themselves with the concept of GRATITUDE. It's that thing you sometimes have a glimpse of that makes you realize your life is really pretty damn good. Bethenny I have no sympathy for, because she should be familiar with gratitude having all that money. She's a nasty person, and so is Ramona. I think those two are the meanest of the bunch.

It drives me nuts. These women have plenty of money and pretty wonderful lives. Yes we all go through challenges, but coming through them should make you even more grateful! I don't have money myself, it is probably the one area in which I really do lack. But you know what? I don't want a lot. My freedom is everything to me. I can walk outside in my little neighborhood of older houses in the early morning light, and water my small front yard by hand, grateful to feel the sun and the cool air at the same time. Grateful for my nice neighbors who don't complain about my occasionally loud music. I am grateful for youtube, where I find music to feed my soul. I am grateful for my little dog, who is the best companion I ever had. I don't want or need a man. Therefore I don't have one. I do have a child, just one. I am very grateful for her as well.

I wish these women would walk outside one morning and take a look around them in the Hamptons or wherever they have such nice homes in the midst of the beauty of nature, and just feel that little thrill of BEING GRATEFUL. I know you ladies all know what I'm talking about. Bethenny in particular needs a dose of this.

Well said Lilymax! There is an incredible piece floating around social media right now that Sheryl Sandberg wrote at the end of her 30 day mourning period for the loss of her husband. They need an episode of each Real Housewives series where Sheryl comes in and reads it to each group of women, and then watches them try to pretend the things they are talking about are still relevant.

She and Heather are similar in that they both own their own successful companies and are savvy businesswomen. The difference is that Heather has a good marriage and life mate...Bethanny has failed in that department. It's hard to watch Bethanny a lot of the time...she seems so scattered and neurotic. Her inability to be kind and tolerant of other people's feelings makes her seem hard. She lacks empathy and is narcissistic. Sonja is sad...her brazen flirtations and overt sexuality is silly and reeks of a desperate need to be noticed. Honestly, the only ones I really like this season are Carol and Dorinda.
I agree with you about Heather and Beth. When some folks say Heather is jealous all I can ask is OF WHAT? Is it the failed marriage, the crummy childhood, a mother you don't speak to, the nasty custody battle, the talk show that tanked, the lack basic manners???

Beautifully stated! I do think that at least one of the women lies in bed at night and worries about serious matters, such as, "will I be booted out of my house tomorrow." I think that Sonja is very concerned about finances. She acts all chipper, but I think she lives on the verge of collapse. The rest of them seem to have a buffer, like a working spouse or regular job.
