Ramona looks well. She's totally sucking in her tummy in that pic.
I'm actually more amazed at how Mario looks. He's got a 6 pack for sure!

Ramona facially does look good for her age.
It's a sad thing: the husband goes out for sex but still wants mama at home; the wife tries to be glamorous and desirable, tries to make him stay. Sometimes the guy just gives in to sex drive, and sometimes not. Mario looks pumped - and I think it's his desire to attract women other than his wife. Ramona's dropped a lot of weight, probably a combination of anxiety and a desire to be attractive to the bum. I don't think he'll leave her, but he won't stop going out for sex either, he'll just be more careful for awhile.

So, the latest news is that the high and mighty LuAnne is not a "Housewife" anymore. Apparently, she's been demoted to being "a friend of the Housewives." I wonder how that sits with her huge ego.

And I saw the first promo for this season of RHNY (which starts in March). Wow! It's pretty vicious! That makes me really sad, cause RHNY is my favorite RH franchise, because I'm always interested in what smart, sassy NY women are doing with their lives. But I'm not really interested in the fighting and back-biting. If the season turns out to be as harsh as the promos look, this might be my last season of watching the show. Too bad, cause I'll miss it --- but I just can't deal with all the fighting anymore.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York

The housewives franchise has been struggling to figure out how to retain our attention and they seem to default to the successful Atlanta model of the in-fighting. I wish one of these series would manage to adapt less battles and more focus on their fantastic city, their friends and families, and their businesses and still manage to be interesting. OC, BH and NYC used to do that well I felt, but I feel like BH has fallen down the rabbit hole and I agree with this promo it seems NYC did.

RHoNY, post Bethenny, has really always been a bit of a mess and struggle. I love my Housewives though, and I'll probably give this season a shot. As for no LuAnn, I'm in favor of it. I never cared for her and I guess that makes Ramona the boss of New York as the only original left. Vicki, Teresa, Nene and her should have a meeting.
