I very much believe in rescuing animals, not buying them.
Candice Bergen, on finding her dog, Lois, a terrier/basset hound mix
Well tonight was a hell of a lot of postmortem on St. Barths. And, sure enough, I still really like Heather. Her drunk night out with Carol at the gay bar was fun and she was the voice of the audience (and reason) with her lunches with Luann and Aviva. I still want Aviva to STFU already about her less than "warm fuzzy" greeting. I don't for a minute believe she's never seen this show before going on. Her welcome in St. Barths was WORLDS away of Jill's dis-invite in Scary Island. And there is a whole lot of Ramona/Sonja fun-times in Morocco--that's just how they do Bravo trips.
Okay, that bumper with Carol and Aviva out shopping and Carol mentions she's started smoking and that's okay because they're pink cigarettes? Carol was messing with Aviva, right? She's smarter than that and I think was having a go at Aviva's food/cancer phobias--same thing with the "I don't drink water" comment. Heck, I wouldn't put it past Carol to buy the pack of cigarettes just to mess with her. And did Sonja know or not know that Carol had gone on a date with the designer? I'm sure there was producer intervention there. And finally, so "white trash" = "moral failure"; George fits the bill with all his viagra supply inappropriately used in social settings and overtly sexual dinner table talk.
----------------------------------
On to Aviva....I've tried to remain objective and reasonable where she is concerned, but I thought she was worse back in the city than she was on the island. I can understand her behavior on the island, but not so much back in NYC.
Funny how tonight she called Ramonja co-dependent or some such thing when she can't take a step without Reid.
There is a lot of "pot meet kettle" going on with these folks.
Aviva is clueless about her damaging name calling. She got that from one of her parents. Bullying, white trash Aviva with her fat middle aged doubledealing husband Reid.
Ramona was absolutely correct about AViva's fear of leaving Reid. She got that from Harry or her dad.
Carol smoking--from being around a singer. That bond is not enough to make what she has more than what it is. Steve Harvy said that men decide very early on whether they want to marry you. And the decision does not change. That is not a bad thing. I do not think it is worth putting your heart out there for a roadie experience.
Heather--liking her more
Luanne--maybe her last relationship was so messed up she really does not know the difference.
Sonja-- if she did not get a settlementshe should. Thenshe should learn to live within her means. Sonja and Ramona did not engage in name calling even when they were loaded.
"Honest concern for others is the key factor in improving our day to day lives. When you are warm-hearted, there is no room for anger, jealousy or insecurity. A calm mind and self-confidence are the basis for happy and peaceful relations with each other. Healthy, happy families and a healthy peaceful nation are dependent on warm-heartedness." Dalai Lama
I don't know....I stopped watching most of these RHW shows awhile back. I just could not stand the drama anymore. I never watched the Miami & DC groups.
Thing is...I get where the firs few casts members went into this franchise without fully understanding what they were getting themselves and, by proxy, the rest of their family. I am sure they never expected their sometimes shady business deals, affairs, financial problems, whatever else would become known to anyone who has access to the internet. Once you knew this was possible & happened already; in my opinion you signed a contract for your soul.
I am a private person by nature. I don't put my personal thoughts & happenings on facebook. I have my fears & phobias; I am sure 99% of the people in this country have fears & phobias. You just can not allow those things to rule your life. I have a phobia against snakes...hate them...only good snake is a dead one. I was at the point if I even saw 1 on TV I would freak. I wouldn't go in pet stores that were selling snakes. Last summer I went into a pet store to get cat food; lo & behold a store employee was holding a small snake. I had my choice to scream in fear & run out of the store or I could face my fear. I certainly did not ask for the store manager to have the snake removed from the store & have the employee fired.
I went up & toughed the snake with 1 finger. Did I like it...NO...but it didn't kill me either. While I would never buy a snake I can now at least see them on TV and not freak-out.
Some people dream of having a big swimming pool - with me it's closets."
-Audrey Hepburn.
Loved how Sonya dealt with Aviva. She laid it on the line! Loved how she told her that she didn't care and was OVER her!! Was it just me, or did Sonya look like she had a cold? Sonya's hat cracked me up....what was she thinking when she picked that one out???
Loved the way Heather talked to Aviva. Aviva looked like she didn't know what to think. Good job, Heather!
The kid gloves needed to come off all of the way around, with Old "Viv"!
The ladies need a crystal ball to deal with her. Aviva expected them to be her mindreaders and just KNOW what she wanted/expected them to do.She deserves to have her feelings hurt, since it seems that no one has ever dared to just come clean with her....and I think that is a big part of her problem.

When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
Maybe SonJa doesn't have a settlement yet, because she signed a pre-nup. I did like the way she talked told Aviva what she thought about the words being hurtful, but her best friend is Ramona, the queen of saying anything she wants to say to anyone she wants to say it to.
I liked Heather from the first and I really like her now. I don't know what to think about Aviva, especially after hearing she went to school in France, is her phobia post 9/11?
- I didn't like Heather at all ....and yet, the more I see lately, the more I like her.
- Aviva is just a mean judgmental woman......
- prhoshay, I don't think Aviva can have "feelings that are hurt."
Does she even have feelings? Well, probably feelings of her own self-pity and her St. Survival greatness.
- I kind of like Sonja's hat....I think it was just the really cold NY weather that made her nose seem red.
- Realistically, your children can be "raised Jewish" but they aren't Jewish unless they go through a conversion ritual. The mother must be Jewish for them to be automatically Jewish.
(my first husband was Jewish so that's how I know)
- I'm so tired of Aviva's whining. Get over yourself. I'm sure she has traveled outside of US so how did she do that?
