I hate it if Alex goes...she's the voice of another city...just adds an element of difference from the NYC standard. BUT... if it means getting rid of Jill then it could be a sacrifice to be made. I'll miss Alex & Simon.

Now that Jillzy is gone, I will probably give this one another chance. I sat out the last one because of her.

Bravo Confirms Jill, Alex, Cindy, Kelly Fired From Real Housewives of NY - Yahoo! TV

It's official. No more Jill Zarin No more koo-koo Kelly No more Cindy Who?

Wish Alex had stayed though. It was probably to placate Jill, who I can see threatening to set Andy's pants on fire if Alex stayed and she didn't. Moving on!

As you might expect, Alex and Simon honestly report they're disappointed, that they didn't want their run to end. Meanwhile, jillzarin says she's busier than hale, cannot be bothered with trivilaties such as Bravo; yeah, sure. I'll bet the hag is plenty steamed. And humiliated, as well she should be. The crazy Bensimon woman, don't expect a peep from her, she's just so so so above this being fired thing; too busy with her fake "jobs" and eating jelly beans probably.

    Awesome!

I really liked Jill. Happy to see Alex and Simon leave. As for 'barely there'? I just saw where she took her assistant to Sonja's house and took a conference call during her breakfast. I thought that was so rude. If you are that busy - don't except an invite.

While I'm bummed that Alex isn't returning....I am SOOOOOO happy I won't have to see that whack-a-doo Kelly on my screen anymore! Thank you Bravo for giving her the boot! Watching her actually made me uncomfortable! And how priceless is it that Jill Zarin got fired? I find it hilarious! I just wish the Countless had been joining her!

Looking forward to meeting the new ladies!

Re: The Real Housewives of New York

I'm thrilled that Jill's smug face will no longer be on my tv screen.
I hardly noticed Cindy, so no big deal.
My brain will no longer be in turmoil trying to figure out what Kelly was/is saying.

But I laughed when I read that Sonja (whom I"ve always liked) said they were on TV because they all had a lot of talent.
Talent? Doing what? We were sorta watching a few days in the lives of some NY women.....like flies on the wall???
Where is talent in just living your life?

Oh, how silly of me! I forgot how Lulu's exquiste singing voice was highlighted!!!! Now there's some talent!!!
And Jill was inspired by an already highly lucrative venture by Spanx and thought she'd get on the money train. That's more talent.
And remember how effective Kelly was in increasing gummy bear sales and decreasing population growth by encouraging running in traffic.
(And I still think Kelly is a transgender.
