Re: The Real Housewives of Orange County

I live in Orange County CA and long before the RHOOC was even a thought in Bravo's head, there was a local news story about a young woman (allegedly George Peterson's daughter-not sure which one) who was left on her own in the Peterson home in Monarch Beach CA, (during the ugly divorce of George and Gina).
ALLEGEDLY, the daughter had meth dealers living at the house -cooking meth, dealing meth until the cops got wind of it and busted the place.
It does appear as though the Peterson children are not very lucky to have George as their father. Not sure about the mother..haven't heard anything about her other than she used to date Dennis Rodman - but worse yet: she was married to George!
And to the very much appreciated MODS of the FORT boards.. I hope I'm not guilty of disobeying your rules regarding the Real Housewives forums by posting this. I did go back and re-read your rules and I think this posting is ok?

About the missing Petersen girl.... I hope so much that the story is not true. My prayer is for her to find safety and security. This is so very very sad.

Watching tonight's OC.... I would have to make a LOT of money to work for Vicki! I think even poor Donn might be ready to find another job soon.

I've never been in a hen house but I'd be willing to bet that Gretchen could out-cackle the best of the hens. I see the top of a beer bottle reared it's ugly head during that video so I'm going to take a crazy guess here and say the women were drinking yet again.
I don't believe anything these women say or do - whether it's filmed by Bravo or, their own video cameras. I've been convinced for a very long time that most of the drama and fights are done for ratings and to comply with Bravo producers requests. However, I will continue to watch because this is the only real housewives show that I like besides the Beverly Hills women.
I think The Gretch gave that away in some reunion or other when she protested whiningly "that's not part of my storyline." I don't have 'storylines' in real life, do you?

Regarding the plastic surgery - do they really think they're fooling anyone? After a point, that plastic eternally surprised and immobile look is just as emblematic of being old as wrinkles. Just maybe it means "old, rich, and foolish." Can anyone say they could look at any of these people and think "wow, they're only in their forties?"

That's terrible. It's terrible that it may be true or that somebody would make it up. Very sad. FIFTY DAYS?? I hope the poor young thing is found safe and soon.

I noticed something on a few of the women tonight that I never noticed before. They all wear allot of makeup but you can see acne under it. That pancake stuff Gretchen wears if you look on her right check her skin is all broke out. These ladies would be so much prettier if they layed off the makeup. Tamra had little makeup at the end of the episode and she still looked so pretty. I'm sorry but I am a housewife and I do not cake the stuff on like that. Because I do not I look much younger than friends my age. Just Yuck.

Vicky really has her career together. I like seeing her being the best she can be. I would have been upset by the Pscho comment from the guy handing her an award. That was a little much.

I too do not care to see Tamra in the hot tub sceen. Ewww. My hubby walked in and asked if I was watching porn. I told him I guess I am now.

Not sure about the new girl. I like that she shoots guns but in heels and that top??? Really???

I can't stand Ickie but I do often at work think 'what would Ickie do' when I'm tempted to goof off. I can't imagine Ickie goofing off before happy hour.
