    I did not watch last night because I cannot stomach Brandy.

    Caught an episode later on which was probably a repeat and he had Mary J Blige on. Funny, the disparity between these two women. One totally classy and one totally without class. Imho, of course.

    I cannot believe I just saw Camille Paglia on Andy's show. How totally bizarre.

    I have to say, I was not impressed. She was not articulate or academic about her take on te HW franchise. IMO, there IS something about these shows that is socially relevant and meaningful and she is someone who could have carried the message. Instead, she came off looking like just another viewer/fan.

    I'm kind of a nerd this way, but I would love to hear a social analysis of why it is these shows resonate so much with the public - female and male.

    CP = ugh.

    I was shocked to see her, too.
    And, I was really surprised how someone so glib in print can find it so difficult to articulate. But, then, that's probably why some choose to write.
    On the other hand, I did really appreciate how down to earth she seemed,

    Anyone see Bethenny on Andy last night! VERY interesting. She looks like she's had work done.

    I missed it. I'm not a Bethenny fan, but I hope to track down a repeat because I really want to see her response to Jill.

    I love Bethenny but I was cringing a little bit, for her. Jill had been so horrendously offensive and demeaning in her WWHL interview, that to make Bethenny respond to some of the horrible things that Jill said -- was painful to watch. And Bethenny didn't look well -- both she and Bryn have been sick, and she looked very washed out and pale. But in spite of all that, it was so good to see her on the show, and I, for one, can't wait for her talk show on Fox next year.

    I used to like Camille Paglia, but now I'm beginning to think she's a fraud. I'm sorry, but teetering heels, blonde extensions, fake boobs and botox doesn't scream fierce and powerful sexuality, which is how Paglia tried to cast these women. It screams desperation, vanity and insecurity.
    Bethenny handled the jillzarin questions brilliantly. I think she truly is over that whole thing.
    Finally, what, no New Year's Eve in the clubhouse? The last one was a blast to watch. I wanted to make it an annual tradition.

    Did anyone catch Lisa and Cesar Milon (The Dog Whisperer) on Andy a couple of nights ago? I saw some of it. Too funny! I missed the part where they talked about why Cesar was on the show. I guess it was from the Jeegi angle.
