Absolutely ridiculous to hold such a OTT party for a 12 yr old....but, hey...that's just me. What the heck was that cake?? I couldn't figure it out. Was it supposed to represent something?
Yes, Teresa had her friend/body guard, Kim D there to start the issue with Melissa...very contrived to me. Then after Kim D primed Melissa, Teresa could jump right in.
Personally, I'm delighted whenever that phony Melissa is called on her lies and fakery but Teresa just wanted an audience for the showdown.
They are low class petty ridiculous women who've never matured.
    They deserve each other.

Dragonlady I believe those were multi-color lips. I hope they were the ones you put lipstick on so I imagine the multicolor was to look like lipstick...perhaps...hopefully .
I don't know...did any of you catch Teresa mentioning she is planning to taking Gia to a doctor (I am assuming a GYN) and stated Gia had better be a virgin...sheesh woman...she is 12!!!!

I hope the autistic baby gets better. Jenny McCarthy helped her son normalize through diet. She fed him a gluten free diet......Wonder if autism is related to gluten rather than immunizations.
    You can do it!

    Yeah, Bunny . . .

I heard that heifer say that.

All I could do when that cleared her mouth was SMH and think:

"T: Just because YOU'RE a (famewhoring) tramp, that doesn't mean your 12-YEAR-OLD-DAUGHTER is!!!

    Not YET, anyway.

    Sure, she's a loud-mouthed, smart-assed, back-talking BRAT . . .

But, you need to look in a mirror and OWN that one, 'cause YOU created it!

And if you keep going with her the way you ARE, you might have REASON to take her to a Dr.

And NOT just to get her "checked out", either!

Gia and her mother make you think about the HPV vaccination, but I can't see Teresa being that progressive and open-minded.

I could see Teresa thinking that far as to get the HPV shot. Couldn't her peditrician just do that. What bothered me so much was Teresa taking her 12 year old daughter for a pelvic exam but wouldn't dicusss sex with her until she got her period. Even more disturbing is that she said Gia had better be a virgin...so if she wasn't wouldn't that sex talk be a bit late??? Jeeze ...she is 12!

    EXACTLY!!!

Nothing for me to add on the stuff you said that I bolded, 'cause IN it, YOU HIT EVERY POINT THAT CROSSED MY MIND!!!!

Progressive OR open-minded enough, to get Gia the HPV shot, though? No.

We're talking TERESA, I had to remind myself.

Every time she turns around, she's honking about being "old-school Italian!"

And, while I'M not Italian, I just can't wrap my brain around the concept of an old-school Italian momma taking their daughter --- ESPECIALLY a 12-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER! --- for an HPV shot.

And, anybody who IS Italian, please feel free to correct me about that, if necessary!

Yeah, I was shocked to hear that she had not had the sex talk with Gia yet.....by Gia's age, somebody has already had the sex talk with Gia, even if it's just her friends. And if Teresa hasn't had "the sex talk" with Gia, I'm sure HPV vaccination is not even on the radar.

Re: The Real Housewives of New Jersey

I am 1/2 Italian. If my parents had their way my va-jayjay would have been super glued until after I was married & even afterwards I am sure would have crossed their minds. Seriously! I got pregnant 3 months AFTER I was married & I swear my parents were embarassed about that fact. They actually counted the months until I had my son; 3 weeks before my 1st wedding anniversary. At first my Mom actually tld me she was ashamed of me until I pointed out she got pregnant on her honeymoon & my Mom isn't my Italian half!

I don't have daughters but isn't it almost mandatory for girls to receive the HPV vaccine?

Let me edit this to say I am in my 50's & my Mom never, ever had the sex talk with me! I had it with my sons when they were told enough to understand what that thing was useful for other than peeing. Their father...ummm...noooo...but then again he really didn't know what it was used for himself.

Man talk about giddy Friday summer afternoon talk!
