I never said anything about the porn tapes. Just as I have no real problem with Chris wanting to run a (respectable) strip club, I have no problem with Danielle choosing to do whatever she wants with her sex life. Like you said, it's not illegal. What I have a problem with is her bringing Steve in to introduce him to them.

My relationship with my mother is more that of close friends than that of mother/daughter, and sometimes it is quite unsettling. However, it's your prerogative to think she's a good mother.

They really don't appear much on the show, and maybe that's a very good thing.

As far as her porn tapes go - it's income. It's not illegal. And I'm pretty sure porn stars have kids who are not necessarily maladjusted.
Exactly, we don't see enough of Danielle's kids to know how well adjusted they really are and from where I sit Christine looks at her mother with more disgust than love. Which I can't say I blame her.

I think Caroline's kids are well adjusted and respectful of their parents. Sure, Christopher wants to open up a strip club but he's 20 and, I'm sure, to most men being around naked women all day would be a dream come true. Doesn't mean his business aspirations won't morph into something more respectful as he gets older and more mature. C's daughter is going to cosmetology (sp?) School and plans to open a salon one day which I think is great! Albie is going to Law school (with a learning disability) what parent wouldn't be proud of that. I bet dollar to donuts if any of your kids had a learning disability like his, and had the same issues Albie was having with college, you'd encourage your kid the same way C encouraged Albie. I would certainly hope you wouldn't discourage.

Ashly does seem like a twit but that doesn't mean she won't one day do a 180 in a few years and get her act together. She's still young and there is no rule that states you must accomplish this or that by a certain age.

    Stranger things have happened.

This is funny to me. Wasn't it you that stated earlier that you don't write things to Ashley on her Twitter or Facebook?

So you are, in fact, feeding her need for attention.

    Danielle is a horrible mother.

Actually, I was talking about her Twitter account which she posts to, personally, at least 12x a day

Even if I were so inclined, I couldn't post on her page since I haven't "liked" her there. I posted about her one time on a discussion group there, not TO her. And her "fans" still flood my newsfeed there. She, personally, probably never saw that comment.

Hope this clarifies the point for you.

Odd... I see her more often hugging, kissing her and spending time with her. Even given adolescent sassisness, it's perfectly clear to me that they have a loving and close relationship. Her kids' accomplishments make the local newspapers, so that's not something I glean from watching Bravo.

    Stranger things have happened.
As I posted earlier, I certainly hope that all the RH kids turn out OK. I just think that, to date, Danielle's kids make them look like slackers. That tells me she's doing something right.

I don't think anyone's saying Danielle doesn't love her children. I think she loves them very, very much. But there's more to being a good mother than just love. Truthfully though, they can work around her insanity as long as they know they're loved.

Exactly ubidiah. And sometimes kids go wrong in spite of their parents.

Amen. I make my own decisions and I go below the surface. I was never the one who goes with the crowd because it's popular. It's unfortunate some people just don't get it.

I just finished the episode.. did anyone see the clips of next weeks show, with Danielle asking Christine if she wanted her dad at the Sweet 16? I never saw Danielle in Christine, and it's clear to me that she ABSOLUTELY resembles her dad!

Yeah, I saw that. The girls look exactly like him. He's pretty old too. Definitely in his 60's.
