I agree, Danielle committed (or copped to) crimes of violence, not bloodless fraud. She held a person to ransom with threats of extreme bodily harm or murder, she facilitated drugs trafficking. (I don't count her escorting as a crime of violence to anyone but herself, and that not necessarily.) Those are all Very Bad Things. For which she was sentenced and served her time. Since then I've not seen her get so much as a traffic ticket (even when flying all around Franlin Lakes embarrassing her daughters on her way to parties she wasn't even invited to).Originally Posted by tears.and.rain;3964481;
But on the other hand (my favourite phrase!) she did it while younger and lost in the world. And the person she kidnapped (IIRC) wasn't an innocent bystander but also involved in trafficking drugs.
If these allegations are true, Juicy Joe and Tess of the Stone Temple did their dirty work quite compos mentis, as adults with three (or four) little ones, whose future they endangered as much as (more?) than Danielle endangered her children. If true, they cold-bloodedly swindled their friends and partners, as well as the great shopping public.
Danielle's two won't have to downsize because of Danielle's wrong-doing. The four little Giudicette might just have to.
And the other difference is that Tess is incredibly judgemental and superior-acting. Her cookbook is shot through with cheap one-liners attacking Danielle. Even before her big break with Danielle, she was snide and dismissive. Personally I find Tess only one rung below Danielle on the Ladder of Awfulness.
And I still don't think Joey G is friend to the gays everywhere despite her incoherent averring that he is.
