I totally agree with you about Theresa, although she's the one who seems to be everyone's favorite. Don't EVEN get me started on Carolyn.

I've been taping some of these NJ shows hoping to watch when I had time. I watched the first introductory show and got hooked, of course! Have there only been 9 shows,though, plus the reunions? I'm confused. I've got these taped:
thicker than water
mama knows best
not one of us
black and red and read all over
casino and c cups
the last supper
water under the table
generation vexed
catty walk
reunion shows 1 and 2

Is that all there is so far? Somehow I got the impression it had been on longer. I'm LOVING these Housewife shows! My husband thinks I've gone nuts.

RHONJ started last season.
I'm not sure how many episodes they had, but they were good. Esp. the final one!! You've probably heard about that one. Then, they had 2 reunion shows, I believe.
RHONJ - Season 2 - jus started. I think they've shown about 3 episodes so far.

(my grown cat who looked just like your avatar when we found him is boo hooing in the foyer so pitifully right now. He HATES it when we go to sleep at night, even though he settles down and sleeps,too! I don't know what his problem is, but like clockwork he'll start the bawling at bedtime until I yell at him to pipe down. Poor little guy!)

OT: Couldn't resist giving you some advice. Hope you don't mind, but it sounds like you would like some relief from this. It's what I do ... dog and cat behavior. Try playing with him vigorously with a wand toy (the kind that has a long string with feathers, a tassel, or a catnip toy on the end) for at least 10 minutes before bedtime. Then give him a snack. See if that helps ... well-fed and tuckered out from playing = sleep for you and him!

OK, back on topic -- Caroline and Teresa were on Rachael Ray today competing for who makes the best meatballs in NJ. The 4 guys from "Jersey Boys" were the judges. Caroline made her meatballs without sauce (said it was a meatball contest, not a sauce contest); Teresa's had red sauce. The judges were not unanimous, but Caroline's won. Teresa looked unhappy. However, they both said they love each other, and Caroline said she had no idea she came across as so tough on the show. She said she's a marshmallow on the inside. Comment from Teresa I didn't need to know: She calls her meatballs Juicy Joe's Meatballs ... "the bigger the better."

Caroline is the trouble maker if you ask me....I watched the preview of her sister Danielle letting her have it for keeping the pot boiling so to speak. I think of all the ladies the only one with any potential for being a good person is probably Danielle. Seems like she's looking for peace in her life.
As for Jacqueline, I think she and Caroline are about equal on the meanness chart. The way she treated her daughter cooked it for me.
The apple doesn't always fall far from the tree and maybe daughter is copying what she say her Mom do?????
