Jacqueline is a timid little people pleaser. The sad thing is they never wind up pleasing anyone.

Tess of the Stone Temple, the real "crazy drag queen" may get her validation from being a sexual object but an eight year old should be allowed to be a little girl.

Christine is very pretty and very grown-up which is a good thing given her family. I feel sorry for Not-a-model, the younger sister. Being a financial drain rather than potential asset, she is devalued by her mother. She must prove her income generation potential before more than cursory attention will be paid her, before interaction between mummy and child will be about more than "doesn't Christine look good/great/better than you?" Sad.

Danielle's pathetic carrying on with Jacqueline shows a deep fear of abandonment due to her childhood experiences, I feel. I'm not professional but if Bravo doesn't encourage that woman to get real help with her issues, her borderline personality disorder and her rather extreme need for affection and inability to keep the affection of others, then they are doing her a disservice and abusing her for money. She is damaged and I would guess more sinned against than sinning. I believe she really doesn't know how sad she appears to others. I would speculate that Jacqueline and Dina are responding to Danielle's neediness from the perspective of a mother, which is why the interactions are unhealthy for all concerned. Danielle needs to grow up and ironically be her own woman.

I mean she's even speculating about absent people not being able to be happy for her - absent people that she doesn't like. Is it really necessary for Dina, Jacqueline, and Teresa to be happy for her? Only if she is essentially a hollow person.

Look at her court records...she was a paid escort, doing things for other people's approval (expressed quite tangibly? tangiably? in physical form? in cold hard cash) and a kind of servant or employee for the 'real' drug dealers. Anyone with any sense, let alone sense of self, would have nto fallen into those behaviours. Anyone with any sense of self would allow D, J, and T, to feel their own feelings, to send flowers and merely thank them, without making a whole drama (a drama which apparently even her littlest child is familiar with).

Look at her pathetic manipulation of her real estate agent to talk to her ex-husband. "Help me. Take care of me. If you do then you love me. If you love me, why then I love you. If you don't then you hate me. If you hate me I hate you." It's sad and it goes nowhere. Nobody can fill up the void in Danielle, not Jacqueline, not her kids, not money, not exercise, not cheap degrading sex, nothing. NOTHING. She needs to learn to nurture herself and be fine with being alone. But she won't learn that until she realizes she needs to.

It is not normal nor healthy to place empty chairs at tables and bring up one's feelings of loss and abandonment. It is not normal or healthy to have such cravings for others' approval that one loses ones dignity or sense of self. It is not normal or healthy to swing from abject pleading for validation to angry (and violent? threatening?) rejection when that validation is withheld. I really believe that Danielle is suffering greatly every day from lonliness and insecurity, pains which she doesn't know how to deal with but which aren't her fault. Look at her 'motto' - "You're either going to love me or hate me" - in her world, those extremes - love and hate - are the only way interpersonal relationships can work. If Jacqueline and Dina don't love her, don't love her more than they love their own spouses, then they must hate her, and be hated in return. It's like emotional whiplash, in every interaction.

It must be horrible to be her but it must also be horrible to be around her.

Juicy Joe was being an ass to his daughter and Tess shouldn't have excused it to Gia or us.

Dina seems smaller and more alone than last season without Lexi, but there's apparently a reason for L's absence, which will be revealed. Ooooo. Lexi was forbidden from appearing would be my guess, by her father.

The two faced lady dog wasn't in much evidence thank heavens. Talk about 'toxicity.'

Caroline had one good interaction with Jacqueline and her question was pertinent. Jacqueline has to give herself permission to treat Danielle as she wishes to. I have to wonder if Jacqueline isn't a bit of a narcissist, in that she thinks she can be of some sort of saving, nurturing, redeeming factor in Danielle's life. Danielle's neediness will draw people like Jacqueline in, people who seem very meek and mild on the outside but really have very high opinions of their necessity in other people's lives. Jacqueline can't fix Danielle and shouldn't try and shouldn't feel guilty for not trying. Danielle is an adult. An adult in need of help, but an adult. She has to stop seeking approval in others' eyes. And Jacqueline has to recognize the limits of her ability to repair people.

Other than that is it me or did Caroline mostly coo over children? Sort of practicing for being a real grandmotherly matriarch. I get the impression she has a set of strap-on b*lls in a box on her nightstand for when she's really in charge. Her femininity sometimes seems a burden as she strides purposefully, takes charge, and manages the lives of those around her.

And didn't Big Al do well losing weight with his stomach band?

Yep. This makes her a crappy mother, too (Danielle and Theresa are much better).

I apologize if these questions have already been answered, but does anyone know how tall Danielle is? She appears much taller than the others and her daughter is 5'10". Are her daughters from the same guy, and is this her first husband?

Where is Dina's daughter this season?

Don't know how tall Danielle is but I never sensed that she was much taller than the others.

In Dina's Bravo blog, she hinted that she would soon reveal why her daughter is not shown this season.

For some reason, I seem to remember Danielle mentioning she's 5'6". She probably also wears shoes with a higher heel, so she might look taller. I'm guessing her daughters have the same father, as they look a lot alike - even though Christine thinks Jillian looks nothing like her. I think Danielle has only been married once, but I can't say for sure.

In the most recent episode, I thought Danielle actually did a good job with making Jillian not feel 'second best' with all of the attention Christine was getting. Danielle commented to Jillian that the modeling reps were all saying how they could tell Jillian would soon be following Christine as a model, and saying how much alike they both looked (Christine was actually kind of mean to Jillian; saying they looked nothing alike, commenting on her freckles, etc.). Can't remember all that Danielle said to Jillian, but I thought she did a nice job. Although Danielle isn't exactly a great role model for her kids, I've always felt she has been loving towards them. I realize that's not enough, and her kids need more stability and saneness from a parent, but I'm glad Danielle is at least capable of showing them love.

IMO, Jacqueline is a person who tries to see the best in other people. I don't think that makes her timid or a people please (though, she probably is a people pleaser).

Danielle is very needy and pushes boundaries with people. Take Dina for example, she said she had no ill feelings toward Danielle, wishes her well, and even from time to time texts her when good things happen particularly with her kids. Danielle takes this gesture as a sign of friendship...a stable person would understand that this isn't a friendship just of someone being friendly.

I also don't think Jacqueline is a crabby mom, mainly because, I don't think Ashly is acting any differently than I did when I was her age (self involved, self absorbed, entitled... much like most teenagers act) and my mom was far from a crabby mom.

When darling Gia asked her Dad what happened to him at work (with his eyes all puffy and swollen) how many whiskey sours and Pall Mall's did she have the night before/during the day?

She has the huskiest voice I've ever heard of from a kid.

Maybe on top of all of her other classes (acting, dancing, acrobats, karate, etc.) she should go to a vocal coach?

I can't disagree that Danielle loves her kids and they've turned out okay but most of the interaction with Jillian was all about modelling and Christine. No mention about whether or not Jillian would want to do something other than stand in front of a camera and call it a career.
