Icky, TamRahhh, and now the new one (Alexa?) profess to be superchristians; however, their lifestyles scream otherwise. Really, what would jesus say about the way they live?
, put way better than I did.

Thanks for posting that about Alexis's husband. Wow! He's 15 years older. I do wonder, as did the author of the article, if Alexis will be lambasted as a "golddigger" like Gretchen was when she hooked up with Jeff.

    Pug,
I think the problem is that people on these reality shows do often give a bad name to whatever it is they're "labeled" as / or whatever stance they choose to make, as in Alexa/Jim's comments - We put G*d first, then our marriage, then our children. Sadly, the true meaning of being a Chri*tian is supposed to be living your life by the golden rule. One doesn't have to go to a church / temple / mosque, etc. to do this. In addition to the very concept being in one's heart, it needs to then be conveyed outwardly through one's actions.
Unfortunately, that becomes a dichotomy and an oxymoron on this show and others in the genre.
I think maybe I was overly harsh. I found Alexa & Jim to be very smug but really disliked it at La Pearla when Jim quite subtly judged and found wanting the other housewives' morals and the other husbands' permissiveness. And I've not seen much evidence of the OC crew doing much for charity, at least not to the extent of the Atlanta (season 1) or New Jersey or especially New York cast. Everything with them seems to revolve around their egos. However, I don't think that Vickie's faith is fake, but maybe Jeana takes "all-forgiving" to a needless extent. However, she is the most Christian-seeming to me even with her zingers; she really does try to find the good in every person.

I feel sorry for the ladies that feel that they have little more to offer to their marriages than a 'hot' body and a 'youthful face.' Imagine the pressure, the self-loathing, the cold fear that you don't cut it or make the grade and will be tossed aside like an ex Mrs. Peterson.

Vicky, Vicky, Vicky....how quickly you turn. Why mention the loan? That was only between you & Jeana. Talk about you being financially responsible. Were you not the one who wanted to buy a million dollar boat last season & Donn put a stop to it. Hmmmm I don't know but maybe if you had bought it you might have been in the same boat as Jeana but then you can always live on that boat.

Her sitting there on her high horse on Dr Phil & Andy Cohen made me ill. She was like a spider and Jeana and the rest of us were caught in her web.[/QUOTE]

100% agree regarding Vickie. She was my co-favourite housewife at first, with her ditziness, her work ethic, her charming self-deprecation, how she helped others by giving them employment. Yes she was driven but she could laugh at herself. She's become nastier and nastier and more and more full of herself.

She says her income is cut by 2/3, so that's down to about 500k, she's losing her mortgaged houses, and can't figure out how to modify her life to fit her income. Who in their right mind would list with her, or hire her as a buyer's rep, given her total lack of financial acumen? What ever was she doing throwing her money around during the past few years when she had mortgages? Seems like someone with a brain would have paid them off, then played with what was left. Tinymind. Tinymind.
She should listen to Colton; once he stopped being beaten up by Shane...

    ...oh...

...so handsome, virile, sexy, gorgeous, hunky Shane...

and gave up destroying golf carts he seems very sensible and caring. I mean let's face it, it's not rocket science to say "spend less" but since Jeana can't it's good he can.

So she's coming aboard with an admitted "criminal" past. She promises to be a superstar of trashy action. Move over Icky!

If I were a production company I wouldn't hire them to save my life - one of their favorite hobbies, besides being appalling and not paying bills, is suing everyone and anyone for everything and anything. God help DC if they become 'our' image.

She had that worked on? I thought that she'd "styled" it by a jet engine at the airport.

Whatever DID happen to that assistant Vicky hired??? You know the one who she took to the spa & made her get a brazillian wax?
And speaking of whatever happened to...whatever happened to I think his name was Frankie, the one Jeanna rented Vicky's house to? The one who slept to noon & didn't have any noticeable means of support? Then again he sounds alot like Slade.

The first 2 sasons of this show were great. It just seems that each HW franchise tries to "out-nasty" the other. As much as I am almost hating to admit it, I am getting so OVER this it is unreal. Mean, mean, mean women in designer clothes that are probably on loan anyway.
I honestly think that they have such self-esteen issues that to make themselves look better they need to make someone out to look worse. I mean, heck what part of then is real??? Fake tans, boobs, faces, hair, nails. I wonder if their family's are real or just a make-believe family??

Can you tell I am having a bad Monday???

Doctors will confirm this, and it is many, many times more effective when applied at night.
    Imperfect,

I was at my DR's today and totally forgot to ask about this.
Why do DR's say it is more effective to apply at bedtime? What does it do then that it doesn't do in the morning?
    Thanks

She got tired of working 90 hour weeks and having Vickie try to see if she needed a touch-up job?

Oh, he's still around on facebook, generally looking ineffectual and like a hanger-on.

    No.
