The irony of this is the public school he'll be attending is an awesome one and probably rated higher than some private schools. So Francois is actually going to be better off in the long run, with the added bonus of a financial break for his parents.

Dammit, I missed the first show!

I know I'm in the minority, but I love Alex and Simon and their crazy grubby, social climbing ways. The show wouldn't be the same without them, plus they make me laugh. They also need to get a grip on reality--a lovely brownstone in Brooklyn Heights is NOTHING to sneeze at, especially since that area is one of the few that actually seems to be retaining its value (unlike Manhattan). Yet, they always want MORE MORE MORE! It almost breaks my heart to see such greed!

Their relationship also seems to be a lot more stable than some of the others on the show.

I can't say that I love them but I agree that the show wouldn't be the same without them.

Yeah, me too. I like Alex and Simon and the show would definately not be the same without them. However, they are "off" and I agree with Mona that they emit negative energy.

I don't think it's negative energy as much as they try waaay too hard and are completely extra. Desperation is the world's worst cologne, and it clings to them in waves. What's sad is that they have so many truly good things in their lives...but they don't even see it because they are always looking at what they don't have then what they do.

As much as The Countess gets on my nerves at times you get the sense that she DOES realize and appreciate just how lucky she is.

They are characters, aren't they? Bravo did it right when they picked these ladies. I really do like them, though. Pure entertainment.

So concerning Bethenney's relationship w/ Jason, I found this blurb on TMZ:

"Real Housewives" Real Pain In Ass - TMZ.com

A Wall Street management company may learn the hard way -- skank is now a protected class in the US of A.

Jason Colodne is suing Patriarch Partners for $55 mil, claiming he was wrongfully fired because he appeared on the TV show "The Real Housewives of New York City." NEW YORK CITY!

According to the suit, first reported by Page Six, Jason's GF, Bethenny Frankel, is a cast member, and he appeared on an episode to promote a charity that raises money for neurofibromatosis. By the way, Jason wasn't working in the mail room. He was Prez of the frickin' company.

Apparently, the firm values its privacy and felt Jason boy was out of line. Since he's now unemployed and into charity work, we're thinkin' he should try out for "Oprah's Big Give."

I have to say I am liking Mario a lot this season! I loved the scene when he was giving it to Jill. Jill annoys me so much! That accent is so grating, Jill married into money...that's all....but she acts like she is just as bad as Alex to me.
Someone posted that they thought Alex gained weight but to me she looks thinner. And how about the freak out in the future scenes with Simon losing it about blowing a surprise. He is unstable to say the least. Oh, and that shack in the Hamptons....don't get me started!
