According to the latest "Jeannaspin" Shane called mommy when caught on the freeway with a flat tire.

Sounds more like a major league drag queen than a baseball player.

Shane is finished as a "ball player." He will never get through the ridicule or shame that his dad has caused him. I am sure he will lose a lot of confidence over what was in every newspaper across America about his dad. A young person can't handle all that mentally. At least he can blame this on his dad now (which he will) because he is SHAMEless or should I say...Shaneless?

Ah, but don't forget that Grandpa and Uncle are still around and it is the A's organization that is now helping Matt get the help that he needs.
Besides Shane has pretty much grown up with his dad being this way. So this negative publicity isn't anything new.
