I think this show is running out of story lines (personally) and I bet it will be the last season of it. The following story lines are OLD:
1. The OC Energy Angels
2. Tattoos
3. Slacker kids
4. Houswives out drinking
5. "The Wedding" of the year (eye roll)
6. Quinn's boy toys (zzzz) one ep was enough of that
7. Shane's low batting average
8. Selling houses (zzzz)
9. Posing for ads
10. Trips

Now I understand why Shane comes across as arrogant, cocky, and a jerk....he is overcompensating for what he is inside...insecure. It is obvious that he was raised by an alcoholic and he will have issues that he may need to deal with by seeking a professional.

I know we all snark on these people, slacker kids and heckle them, but we don't really wish for these kids to not do well in life. I can speak for myself, that I don't wish to see Shane fail now because I feel for the kid....his daddy is messed up.

Absolutely right. These kids cannot help the environment in which they were brought up. I truly don't wish any of the kids ill will...although I like some of them more than others.

Hilarious! I am a little bored with it, too. The episodes are very anti-climatic. Almost every scene is someone out to lunch or dinner. a lot of that going on in Coto. And wine consumption.
