Thank you!!! If that is what kids turn out to be living in Coto - my kids and I will stay where we are, thanks.

I might just be hard-core, but I don't think it is doing Ryan any favors by babying him and allowing him to "come and go as he pleases" just because he is 21. If he wants to be a "man", then he needs to pull it together and support himself, and if he wants to live with Mommy - he needs to follow house rules of the true "man" that pays the bills in said house.

I agree with the rules and the attempts to make him grow up and start doing something with his life. I just get this vibe off Simon, though, that his attitude towards Ryan is not based soley Ryan's lack of accomplishments. For some reason, so far, to me, Simon comes off as a very controlling and dominating man, and that he will not be challenged or defied. That all those in household have to walk on eggshells and obey him. I may feel differently the season goes on.

That's what I'm saying. If Tamra wants to give her son a place to stay while he gets his life together, then she should have that right. The verdict is out on all of them so I'll reserve judgement.

From his MySpace, it appears that Ryan is taking pictures of himself from inside Simon and Tamra's home, so he hasn't been kicked to the curb yet. Also works every day although it is boring (welcome to the real world). So as long as Ryan's behaving himself and has a plan, I say let him stay. If BRAVO catches him being mean to his younger siblings like Shane, I'm gonna change my opinion really quickly!

In all seriousness, I don't get the impression that Simon embraced Ryan as his own. This is a tricky situation and I feel sad for all parties involved.

Re: Tamra Barney - Season 3

There is some kinda evil lurking in that Simon person. IMHO Tamra, although vacuous, is emotionally abused by Simon. She is like a child trying to please him. When he turns on her, it will not be attractive. Why oh why do these women stay with men who clearly do not value them, i.e. Jeana Keough and the dunce Matt? Tamra says she's the hottest in Coto... but her facial expression & body language say she has zero confidence. I guess that's why she clings. These women are not worth snarking about, they're frighteningly pathetic.
