You think I have $3.49 lying around to spend on housewives fluff? I'm more resourceful than that. As luck would have it a co-worker was walking around with that coveted edition of Star Magazine. I thumbed through to the article and Lauri's dress is GORGEOUS. You really need to see this issue. Steal one from jomamma, the doctor's office, the beauty parlor or sneak a peek in the check-out line.

The white satin gown was made by Project Runway alum Austin Scarlett. The scalloped bead work is exquisite and in keeping with the South Beach theme. I have heard

it is not THE dress, Lauri was only trying it on. How can she top that dress, it looks like it was made for her.

Ashley gushes: "Afterwards I told my mom that she set the standards for when I get married and will settle for nothing less!"

You go girl, can't wait to see this over-the-top wedding.

Oh lordy Pizza, I got to disagree with you here. That dress is a shiny satin mess, and way too young for someone as long in the tooth as Lauri. I hope you are right and that is isn't THE DRESS. Number one, it is white, cough cough, need I say more, and it looks like the designer went crazy with a Bedazzler.

Pinky, are you guys talking about the off white dress with the beige banding shown on the promos where Lauri said how she needed to lose 10 lbs?

That particular dress was gorgeous if you ask me. The problem I have is that is not age appropriate for a woman Lauri's age. Ashley, yes! Lauri, no! But the dress itself was stunning in my opinion!

No in the issue of Star Magazine she is wearing a white dress with a whole lot of Bedazzle beads. The dress that I saw on TV did not look the same. This is her THIRD wedding, LOL.

Haven't seen Star magazine but the dress in the preview is beautiful although completely inappropriate for the backyard wedding of a twice-divorced woman hovering near 50.
