I'm agreeing with all of you about Jeana. She seems like the real deal, and anyone who maintains a friendship over all the years since preschool - through all the life changes - is someone of subsance and character in my book!!

Just to clarify, she did say, "since our kids were in pre-school together". Regardless, that's been about 15 - 20 years.

Jeana and Tammy have been together through thick and thin. For Tammy, this must mean a great deal as she always implied that people dumped her when she lost all the money. I also believe that Jeana really was affected by Lou's death. Her emotions were true and that scene did humanize her more.

i think that Kara has become more aware of the cameras this season. the first season she came off a little like a b*tch. but now itsl like she is trying to be the resident sweetheart. not sure it is genuine.

Maybe you misread her in the first season. I thought she was the best comic relief for that season and season #2 the show had.

She never seemed to take any of this shtick seriously and mockingly made fun of it and of her older brother.

The line where she's saying Shane will be studying hard and not "chasing the beaitches" (at Yippeekaya Community College or whatever the heck the name is in AZ) was classic!!

Then, last season we got the lowered eye whisper-to-the-camera "My mom needs a boyfriend" comment.
