I feel sorry for Tre. I think she was doing what she thought she was supposed to do - what she was raised to do. She was raised to marry a good Italian boy, raise his children, keep his house clean and food on the table for him. And she does all that. She works her butt off to do all that. She simply wasn't raised to think about money. I think it was assumed by everyone in her family that she was going to be a housewife, so she didn't need any skills to fall back on.

I agree with what you said here. I don't think she's ever involved herself in the financial or business areas. I remember hearing her say on the last episode that if their (Juicy's) latest endeavor doesn't work out, they'll just sell it too.....I don't think she has a clue to what all is involved in business affairs except what she has already seen.
No one, most of all Juicy, expected her to involve herself in it. At the moment, I think she's either too ignorant to realize how bad it could be or she's just in denial.
I can find absolutely no redeaming value in Juicy whatsoever....nothing, nada, zero.

I don't know about that. Teresa may be cuckoo, but she's gotta have money! And now, with Joe deep, deep, deep into a financial black hole of debt, and with his criminal charges of all kinds, and God knows what else is coming down the line --- not to mention being absolutely poison as a person, I think she might very well leave him. And by the way, look what cuckoo Michaelle just did to Tareq --- as soon as the money was gone, she up and left him and ran off with another guy. So if she can do it, why not Teresa? (Yeah, I know, there are the children, of course, but I'm just sayin. . . )

Tears.and.rain, I think there is just one problem with what you said about Teresa. She was raised to marry a good Itallian boy and take care of the family, but instead, she married a jerk. That's the problem. Caroline has lived her life pretty much the same way that Teresa was raised to be, and it worked out just fine for her. That's because unlike Joe, Albert is a good Itallian man who is doing his part too. As a good Itallian man, he has made his focus making money to take care of his family, and being kind and supportive to his wife. So Caroline can focus on taking care of her family and nothing else and it works just fine. Joe on the other hand is a jerk instead of a good Itallian man. He takes care of himself and no one else. Instead of working hard to make a living he tried to take the easy way out and cheat money out of people. Instead of being kind and loving to his wife, he insults her and disrespects her. Since Teresa didn't marry the kind of guy she was raised to marry, she's got one of two choices - she can leave him and try again, or she's got to accept that life didn't turn out the way she thought, and start working hard and taking responsibility for herself and her kids.

Catholics, including Italian Catholics, get divorced every day. I would add that the Giudices don't impress me as being particularly religious. Her family would accept it and continue to support her, just as they have accepted one scandal after another that Juicy has involved her in.

Teresa will undoubtedly spin the bankruptcy withdrawal as a "win." That's what she does. There will be no mention of Joe taking the 5th to avoid a Federal criminal trial for bankruptcy fraud. I predict that she will say that their finances have improved to the point that they foresee being able to pay back the $11 million. Of course, she could even believe that. She could be that delusional. Her second cookbook sales are nowhere near as high as her first was. She knows she has to earn money (Juicy won't or can't), and she's shrewd enough to milk her Bravo exposure (and even the scandals) for every dime she can wring out of it.

I think Teresa is all about appearances. She is trying to create a "brand" - much like Bethenny did for herself. The image she wants to project is that of a glamorous Italian MILF who is a great wife, mother, and cook. And anything else she can throw into the mix, given the opportunity. She is now the spokeswoman for some tooth whitening gunk. I think that is the "announcement" she alluded to in her Bravo blog.

I think she should lose Juicy (who is still facing 10 years in prision), hire a good publicist, and keep trying to grow her brand. I wish her every success even though I consider her to be more or less ridiculous.

I try to have sympathy for Teresa but it is difficult. You are broke...you know you are broke...you filed for bankruptcy yet, knowing all of that, you buy a pair of Chritian Loubitain boots that sell well over $1,200. Go to Payless & BOGO. She bought a new Mercedes SUV which is well over $80,000. I am sure it is leased but the lease payments have to be close to $600/month. Their auto insurance has to be sky high because of Juicy. She very well knows they owe people money & has zero conscience that maybe they should repay the people they owe first. She knew Joe was sitting his fat arse on the couch, not working for over a year. $120.000/year (gift?) doesn't even begin to cover just their yearly living expenses. She doesn't earn that much on RHW & I wager she didn't get that much as a first time cookbook author. Anyone take notice at her "book signing" Teresa as signing books for no one. See if the books are signed by the author can not be returned to the publishing company.

Stupid is as stupid does. I am over this woman, her whiney voice & her over-the-top attitude.

I nominate Gia to replace Teresa as a HW. Eventhough I know she is only 10 she is a heck alot more mature than her mother.

I was feeling sorry for Tre when I wrote my last post. I think it was because I had just told my husband about the Giudice bankruptcy news and he replied: "Giudice....hmmm.....isn't she the one with her eyes on the sides of her head?" There go the MILF fantasies, Tre.

Did anyone else notice Jac's TH after Teresa's bikini parade? Jacqueline put her hands over her head to make it look like it comes to a point - and her palms were bright orange! I watched this part a couple times to be sure. Note to self, Jacqui: self-tanners require gloves. Jac's neck also appears to be vanishing! Maybe it's just my TV.

Can you think of any reason why the Manzo's brought their grown children (and Greg!) on a couples vacation? Other than to spy on people having sex in the bathroom or particiate in a barroom brawl? The Manzo kids are starting to seriously bore me. I don't care about the gross beverage the boys are shilling or Lauren's pretend makeup artist business. Please give me some Caroline/Albert interaction. They cannot possibly be as boring as they appear to be.

That white bathing suit ("tennis-partner-in-a-porn-flick") Melissa wore... I had that suit in 1992! I sold it at a garage sale. I wonder if someone from Jersey bought it.

And Teresa, Teresa, Teresa - I loved your gold lame' stilettos at the beach. You always bring the comic relief. With a spouse like yours to cope with, that's a good talent to have.
