7/17 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**
Didn't see a thread yet so I started this one ....
Skipping a few other things I'll comment on after I rewatch, going directly to Kim G and her deliberate classless behavior. For her to do something that totally outclasses this group of women (and men) is so over the top. There is no excuse because it was deliberate, to invite someone that would so provoke Teresa to Melissa's party is on par with .... I can't even find someone to compare.
It matters not who is at fault here, the Guidices or Kim G's guest Monica, to invite her to this Christmas party hoping there would be drama when Teresa sees her just shows her character. I don't think Monica knew whose house it was, and I'm laying the blame here directly on Kim G's doorstep. And maybe 5% Melissa for inviting Kim G in the first place, knowing the story behind Teresa and Kim G.
Also, Kim G arguing that Monica should stay when the hostess and then the host very politely regret that the guest you brought cannot stay ... like they would change their minds. Hello, Cameras!
I must say that I was impressed with the gracious way Melissa and Joe conducted the conversation, not their fault Kim G is a crass, classless witch.

Ok..how does having a party that costs $50,000.00 help kids with cancer (per Joe G's statement)? Wouldn't it be better to just give the 50k directly to the cause instead of giving the charity a few cheap toys that people bring to the party to donate? And a casino for a Christmas party? Or as Melissa keeps reminding us...Jesus's birthday. I'm sure Jesus would just love His birthday to be celebrated with excessive drinking, prideful extravagance, scantly dressed women and gambling. But...I guess Melissa knows exactly what Jesus would want, as she keeps reminding us over and over she is "in like Flynn" with Jesus/God. Give me a break!! :rofl

Guess that's where the term "Holy Rollers" comes from.
Kim G is too darn old to be that annoying, and the nerve of her telling the Gorgas "I can't do that" when they told her she would have to ask her guest to leave. I can't wait for next week. Was so proud of Chris and Albie tossing Kim G out on her butt! I know that must have been hard for Chris being such good friends with her son.
ETA- Melissa's brother was way out of line as well. He knows that his sister is trying to make it work with Teresa (whether it's sincere or not) but he decides to bring up a debt that Juicy Joe owes him. How is that helpful or right to do at his sister's party? Ugh at these people once again for making me side with T because she was right in saying that he didn't have to wait to do that at the party when he could have knocked on their door since they are only 3 doors down.

Agreed! Melissa's sisters and their husbands are way too interested in keeping the pot stirred and getting their face time. IMO they are just as guilty of this as KimG and maybe worse because they see their sister is working toward a resolution, yet know if that happens, their time on camera would most likely be limited. KimG doesn't have a dog in this fight.....she's just out of her mind.
What is with the voice of that brother-in-law asking for money?! It's seriously disturbing on a grown man.

Thank you for posting this, I was thinking the same thing! Were people making donations at the door? :shrug And I completely agree regarding the "Jesus's birthday" party. :wow

Considering that Bravo put up the cash for this shindig, I have to wonder if they didn't make a donation to Dina's charity (or some other one), as well.
Re: 7/17 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**
I think Melissa's brother in law was slurring a bit, he's always a bit drunk when we see him. Still not right, just wanted to say he'd been drinking awhile. Again.
Ice sculptures of themselves ... casino tables ... Gorga money ... It was all about Jesus.
Joe Guidice is leaving no doubt in anyone's mind how he feels about Tree's family. From experience, I think she needs to let him make up his own mind about coming along. Everyone is jumping on Melissa about wanting to continue the friction between the Gorgas and Guidices, but Joe Guidice adds as much if not more.
Oh yeah, Lauren just coming out and saying she didn't want to sit by Ashley at her party ... she realizes the cameras are there. And the reaction of the rest of the Manzo kids ... laughing and agreeing with her. Ashley will always be on the outside looking in as far as that family is concerned. The boys already banned her from their apartment ... I'm just wondering if anyone ever sat her down and explained what she's doing that is hacking them off? Besides texting all the time, that is.
Forgot to add: Kathy vs Teresa. Is the fight between them because Kathy told Teresa she watched out for Gia and Audriana during the christening fight?? If so, that's ridiculous. Get over it! Put aside your petty imaginings about perceived slights. I know a "thank you for removing them from the fight" would be too much to ask, but ending the pout would be great. Teresa really showed how much family means to her with her blowing off Kathy. She could have been gracious and kind, but not our Teresa. I'm sure the Teresa lovers will find fault with Kathy trying to make up at a Christmas party ... but whatever. Teresa showed herself again.

I got the impression at the beginning of the season that Teresa and Kathy used to be extremely close, but that's not been the case lately - that there was some kind of falling out before the show, which is why Kathy is closer to Melissa than she is to Teresa now. If that was explained, I missed it.
Re: 7/17 Show Discussion Thread **Spoilers**
I also got that T and Kathy had a history, which wasn't helped by the fact that she then became close to Melissa. Also, it seemed like T didn't appreciate Kathy wanting to make up because she and Melissa were making up. That's what I got from it.
As for Juicy Joe, yes, he has no love for the Gorgas. Difference is I don't see him trying to actually keep them apart the way Melissa seemed to do. Never really heard him say anything that would indicate that Joe Gorga should be cut from her life. His problem seems more like he does not appreciate being dragged to events that he knows they are going to be at. Melissa constantly complained about T not liking her, his parents not treating them equally regarding their grandchildren, yadda yadda yadda. Juicy made it clear he had a problem with them, but he sort of took a "whatever you want to do Tre" approach with their relationship. You just don't hear him running a list of indiscretions down to T the way that Melissa does with Joe. He also made it clear that just because T and the Gorgas make up he won't interfere but their reconciliation does not change how he feels. The man actually has a point, because you see some crap goes down whenever they show up with this lot. Can't blame him for wishing he could avoid that.
The only time you really hear Juicy saying forget these people or he's done is in the heat of an argument. Otherwise, he just gives off the air that personally, he sees this crap for what it is, a made for tv drama reconciliation. Ugh, I feel like I need to make a disclaimer after every post this season that I still do not like Juicy and T! I'm frustrated. Kinda makes you miss the Danielle days when you could hate everyone equally.

Yep....all about Jesus! And I think Jesus especially liked all the "F" bombs that were being thrown around during the party along with a few other choice expletives...
