Another television snob ... aw, screw it, I'll just recycle an old post about another TV critic:

I've said it before, but it's offensive that so many critics bash network reality shows as low-brow entertainment. But they praise public television's Frontier House, Pioneer House, etc.
Just because those shows are on PBS they're virtuous, and just because [fill in the blank] is on commercial television it's vulgar?
Granted, there's plenty of crap reality on now, but this guy considered himself too culturally superior (or maybe he was just lazy) to learn enough about the genre to tell the difference.

A review by somebody that I never heard from an obscure website that I have never heard of, and this unknow reviewer hasn't even seen the show. Ummm, what am I missing here?

Oops! Just read his bio. He's proud to have found a wife to put up with him. Unless he meant somebody else's wife ...

There's a match for everybody in this world. Whenever one of my single friends is down, I point to Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman. True proof that someone in the world can make you feel very happy and loved no matter how quirky you may be.

This guy is your typical jerk reviewer that wouldn't know a good show if he saw it. i was skeptical about the show but after i saw the first one i was hooked. wanted to see how it would go........Plus the best way I knew to see a good movie was to read Tom Shales in the Washington Post, if he panned it, I knew I was going to like it. the only one we both agreed on is Star Wars. when it came out.

Well, not exactly obscure. The Globe and Mail is Vancouver, B.C.'s largest newspaper, isn't it?

I've gotten a few laughs out of it. Mindless entertainment. I was a kid when the original Gilligan's Island aired, and I couldn't wait to see it each week.

I actually caught the show by accident. Originally I had no desire to see it but I didn't feel like changing the channel and I got hooked. It a cute funny show. What i really enjoy about this show is that it's not that serious: it's harmless entertainment. Also you guys are funny! I love reading your comments.

The commentary is typical of the anti-reality crap published in this paper. I don't recall ever reading positive. Mr. Ryan can just kiss my a$$.
