RttA prepares for final walk down the aisle, 09/13

NBC'S 'RACE TO THE ALTAR' PREPARES FOR THE FINAL WALK DOWN THE AISLE WITH FINAL EPISODE

IT'S THE END OF THE RACE WITH THREE COUPLES STILL STANDING, WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT A "RACE TO THE ALTAR" WOULD BE SO DEMANDING. TUNE IN TO SEE THE COUPLES PLIGHT BUT KEEP IN MIND NONE WILL GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT

BURBANK, Calif. -- September 11, 2003 -- NBC's unscripted drama "Race to the Altar" will air its 2-hour series finale, Saturday, September 13th from 9-11 pm (ET). Lisa Dergan hosts the action-packed show which ultimately decides who will win the "the wedding of a lifetime" provided by world-renowned event planner Colin Cowie.

The three remaining couples head to the Altar to find out how they did in the previous race. Upon finding out the results one couple is eliminated, thus leaving two couples remaining. The final two move on to compete in a high stakes, 30 minute gambling spree in a Vegas Casino and then move on to a mad dash across the Vegas skyline to complete the "Race to the Altar" and the crowning of the winning couple.

In dramatic fashion we move to the winning couple as they celebrate the ultimate grand prize, their “dream wedding of a lifetime," complete with entertainment, the best champagne and food all in a very special location. One last surprise awaits them however, as Lisa Dergan presents them with the details of a fantasy honeymoon voted by the viewers.

"Race to the Altar," is a production of NBC Studios, TWI and LMNO Productions with Robert Horowitz, Eric Schotz and Bill Paolantonio serving as executive producers.

"...then move on to a mad dash across the Vegas skyline..."

What? Will they be jumping from rooftop to rooftop?
