    Personall, I preferred Ep 2...

    Personally, I preferred Ep 2...

But then again, I would ;-)

All the guys are great, but Jason was there when we picked the engagement ring, which was an extra special experience!

Peyton did lots of prep work for the wine segment, and Dane did an amazing job on the house and the African tent out the back. Fantastic.

I wear my suits from Julian every day, which is great, and if you've never tried Philosophy Chocolate Body Wash, I can recommend it (thanks to Tristan for that one!).

    cheers,

    StraightGuy2

I can't believe all you Americans slagging off (look it up!) our queer guys. Firstly, our guys are much better looking then yours. Secondly, they have a better sense of style and don't dress the straight guys like preppy geeks, or make over their houses with old furniture! Thirdly they are more cultured. Our straight guys are sent to the ballet, yours are given a selection of CDs!

As for our guys not being funny. It is widely recognisd that Americans cannot grasp British humour (too intelligent for you I believe), and of course you are not going to understand the cultural references as you know nothing about Britain. 80% of you don't even have a passport!!!

Well, I'm English 100% and I still don't really like the show. You are allowed to have your opinions and I'll have mine. I just get sick of so many countrys copying the same idea, what will there be next...Queer Eye for the East German guy??? I'm an definatly going to stick to the ORIGINAL Fab 5, becuase believe it or not they are very very funny and brilliant at what they do, all of them are, I never think that Carson dresses them like preppy geeks, I am constantly amazed at his abilitys to keep the guys individual style in every episode. And if you didn't know Jai will often the straight guy to many broadway shows and the Opera as well. About the whole look thing I couldn't care less, I don't need a person to be good looking for me to watch them. In my mind the US Fab 5 were pioneers, now more and more countrys are just following the trend when they relise there is money to be had, it's getting boring, they just are not going to compare to the real Fab 5.

Um, I like the British Fab Five just fine, really. As far as which one's better, I can't say. To each his own, I suppose. I'm used to our Fab Five, but if I lived in Britain, I would have no problem at all watching them. And about the whole, "We started it, it's not as good anywhere else" I think that's incredibly stupid. We took American Idol from Britain's Pop Idol and I think American Idol is just fine and no better or worse than Pop Idol. Also, Big Brother didn't start in America, and I believe the idea for Survivor came from a Norwegian show or something like that. All I'm saying is if something works in one country, there's no reason other countries shouldn't try it for themselves. You're not there to watch it, so why should you care?

I don't really care, I was just saying that some things in my eyes should not be so mass produced all around the world, when it comes to things like Big Brother, pop idol, quiz shows etc I really don't mind but QE is pretty unique and it would be a shame to me if that was lost, I like shows that are new and different, the new QE and the others coming out in different countrys won't be like that to me, you know. I'm going to go back to England pretty soon I hope, so I'll see the kinda hype about it then.
By the way colby_d, I love your avatar!!!

I do see what you mean about the "uniqueness" of Queer Eye, and you can't just put 5 gay guys together and have another Fab 5. Good point, good point.

ETA: I feel compelled to post the av you were talking about now that I've changed it.
