QEFTSG 12/9/03 From Camp Leguene to Campy Guy

The Victim Ross Morressey, a 29 year old Pharmaceutical Manager who still bleeds Camo. This guy has to shake the Corp and learn to interact in the real world. This is a hard habit to quit, its like telling Ted Kennedy not to drink and chase women. (Someone want to defib Ted, he just went down for the count). His lady, Teresa is Pert!!!! If you like pert.

The Invasion Taking point, Carson leads the way to the objective... Front door of the residence. No innocent bystanders were hurt during this rescue mission, everyone that got slapped deserved it. Entering the domicile of the indigenous personel, we find...... basic!!! everything is basic, almost sterile. Is this a home or a barracks? All we need is curved ceilings and ridges and we have a quanset hut. Most everything thats there is his, Teresa has tried to decorate, breath some class, just make it look lived in and comfy and he thought it was too girly. So what does he do? Hires five gay guys to show him male feminism... Is that a definition? It is now!!!! Ilikai has spoken, now drop and give me 20, dirtbag!!!

Shopping Thom takes the lovely couple to Crate and Barrel to test fly some new furniture since the place really is crates and barrels... well almost. We get a good idea of no side chairs for the dining room table, its ottomans to tuck underneath, easy chairs in the family room and if you need to rest your tootsies... hey! isn't there an ottoman under the table? Next the gym equiptment... errrr make that the new bed. We don't see them totally mattress thrashing the beds but then again, this isn't the playboy channel is it?!

Next is dance lessons with Jai and Cheryl, a dance insructor that Ilikai needs to book lessons with. Teresa gets right into the movement, but Ross is stiff. Ross is worried, Ross never took off them Marine Boots to learn to dance. He gives it the Marine Corp gung-ho trial though. And lets hope he keeps trying.

Off goes Teresa to pop up later at home. Carson's turn and we end up in Soho at a place called John Varvatos. A designer that specialises in fashion with a French Resistance military bent to it. Though I liked some of them, some of those outfits I saw in Hogan's Heroes.

Kyan and The Skin Care Lab Going in, we meet the Doc, who proceeds to give a malinoma checkup. They could have taken a pen and played connect the dots with his moles. A skin peel later and we are off to meet Ted.

Nancy's Wines is the place to be for wine tasting and a party. Selecting a dessert wine is dessert in its self, that Reisling mix sounded reeeaaaal good!!

Back from the Battle Home again!!! and it never looked so good!! The place has couth, pinache, and a flat screen tv, the lucky bastard!!!!! He better give Thom a big, sloppy kiss for that one. The kitchen will be his favorite room since its painted OD green. The bedroom looks real, not real sparce. The guys leave and he pretends he is Emeril and starts a souffle, but not enough mixing does not make it look Good Eats. Well, there is a next time, and if he can get some wine into Teresa fast, she won't notice the marbling of the chocolate. Speaking of Perky Pert, she comes home and just LOOOVVVEEEESSS the things that are done. They do a fast pre-dessert dessert and its off to the club for some dancing. Ross really scores the brownie points by trying, and at the end of the evening they are off to home to do the back stroke across the King Size for dessert dessert.

Our intrepid Heroes took on the mission and it was success, another fashion flop is taken prisoner and rehabilitated.

    Thanks for the recap, Ilikai!

I thought that Ross made a really good effort for Teresa, but I might have to agree with comments made by others; I'm not sure sure how genuine her reactions were, due to the "awesome" comments on pretty much everything. Hmm.... She seemed rather pleased in the end though, I think. I enjoyed the episode overall and I see that Carson is back with his comments.

You know what I REALLY want, though? One of those cute, orange QE bags that they gave to Ross!! Do you think that they're being sold anywhere?!

The show was kinda ho-hum but just seeing my boyz for an hour was just good enuff............

I dug the opening when the guys hops out of the car & sneaks into the building.......
Then the elevator. Thats a wee tiny little thing.
Ross was a cutie. A lot of olive green attire.
    The girlfriend is "AWESOME-LY" adorable........
This was a FIRST seeing Kyans face DROP to the floor when he learns that Ross doesnt use anything to take care of his face.......
    Then LATER
It was a first that a lady friend accompanies Thom in making choices of the
AWESOME furniture they are gonna go with.................

Why did the gang was hoping to see Ross NAKED?
It would have been AWESOME if we got to see him in the buff......
They just always show the ones we DON'T wanna see....

And speaking of AWESOME.............I just kept a count of how many times the GF kept saying that word. I myself often say certain words over and over but I was goin 3..........................4.. .......................... okay now she said it! Now its 5!

Awrighty, Lookin sooo foward to next weeks show!

LilyAccording to the QE site on Bravotv.com, the bags aren't for sale.... yet. But I feel that if you and all the others out there that are wanting one would write to Bravotv, they will see a market for them and make them available.

As for Teresa, I think she was impressed, but she may be one of those people that are pretty low key in showing enthusiasm. At least AWWEEESSOOMMME is better than hearing Oh My Gosh (or god) over and over like on extreme makeover house edition last week. Sheesh!!! that was driving me nuts!!!.

I liked Teresa, and the dance instructor too

Sad to say, I was disappointed. The show is still funny, yet usually I'm in need of air because I'm laughing so hard. I'm beginning to not even want to record the episodes.

I still love my boys though!!
    I love the Fab 5

Carson: Dead animals always add ambience...not.
Kyan: Hey Jai, I found the culture. It's at the bottom of the toothbrush holder.
Ted: I like to think of us as gay superheroes...without the tights.
Thom: It's so ugly! Everything is so ugly!
Jai: I broke the wall. I broke the wall and I'm not sure it matters.

    Great recap Ilikai!

I want one of the QE bags too! They're AWESOME!

I thought the apartment turned out great...unlike his soufflé... YIKES! Maybe Ted should start some of these guys out with something easier... like chocolate cake from a mix!

One of my favorite parts (aside from Carson's quips, which if you caught a few of them you know they probably won't make it into the NBC version if there is one...), was Thom's painting. Yes, I realize it wasn't an extremely difficult painting but I thought it was really AWESOME that he did it by looking at a picture in one of Ross' books. It was far better than anything I will ever be able to paint!
