Queer Eye Bat Cave! I like it!

Yes, that is an elevator they come and go from. I think they are pretty common in older building that have been converted to lofts and apartments. I have seen them in buildings in New York, Seattle and L.A. The QE one looks pretty modern. I have seen some that literally reminded me of riding in a flimsy cage from floor to floor! Scary stuff!

Thanks for another fun recap Ili. I missed the show this week, and my curiosity was tweaked by the ads that ran for it.

i just managed to watch this episode today and can I say it's the most boring one I've ever watched? It's true... I didn't really like the straight guy and honestly the clothes Carson picked seemed a little... mix-and-match? Maybe that is just punk style

The only interesting part was when Carson seemed a little pissed at Steve slamming the door on him and throwing out the shirt. I don't understand why Steve threw a hissy fit

To be blunt, the episode with Steven S. wasn't one of my favorites. Wasn't he whining, especially with Carson and Kyan? Really, he was annoying. Can't really save them all Fab 5.

Somehow, I don't see him being a success like Adam Z., Butch, George, or Tom B.

I see that they are repeating the Steven S. episode. I have to agree with everyone else who was not to happy with this one. I think Steven was just so disrespectful to the guys, especially Carson, that it just turned me off. He just didn't seem as appreciative as the rest of the "makeovers."

I didn't like the first outfit he modeled for the guys. Carson was off with that one.

Re: hissy fit. Remember, the make over, regardless of it's many benefits, was not his idea. I thought that part in the dressing area was funny. As much as I like Carson, he needs to be challenged every now and then. Steve really didn't do much but, Carson isn't used to anyone not worshipping his choices or questioning him. In the end, it seemed like it was all good with all of them.
