Who was Blair (culture guy) in episodes 2 & 3??

Does anyone feel like maybe one problem the producers had with him is he didn't have the charm and cuteness of Jai? Sure he didn't stand out and maybe didn't have the expertise in the "direction they were going for," but I don't think that's why they dropped him. For goodness sake, heaven forbid he didn't meet the heavy qualifications of culture vulture!

I saw him again on the rerun with Adam.

Other than "sucking on a pearl" he didn't seem to offer much. Television is such a visual and audio media that you need someone like the current Fab Five to make it work in such a big way.
