What did you think of this episode?
Did I just LOVE this guy or what? Looking at him, they didn't look like they had to change his looks. He did end up looking hotter than when the show started.
I was LOL when they were watching what happens and John pulled out the blow drier. Someone on the couch said "there was no discussion of this"
John was such a romantic and his girlfriend loved the new look of the apartment (see her hop right on that ladder?)
LOVED what they did with the white chocolate and raspberries
This was a great episode, and it will be the one that NBC is showing on August 14.
And, yes, John B. is a cutie patootie.![]()
That was my favorite episode to date. She reminded me of a princess up in a castle/FORTOriginally Posted by marybethp
and her prince wanted her to come to him.
He was moved by the transformation and care the FF gave to him, the apartment, and the backyard. They all helped to make it such a magical night for both. His thanks was very genuine and quite touching.![]()
He was so cute. When Carson stuck those sunglasses on him in the dressing room? Thudworthy. Indeed. And I cried at the end of the show. I did! He was so sweet and romantic! I hope he and Tina, I think it was, are very happy together!
I loved how the entire Fab 5 were in lust with John. Every one of them threw themselves into making sure that John made it through the evening with flying colors.
I especially loved Thom's work in this episode. Since the apartment was pretty bare, he showed his talent and didn't over-do the apartment's decor.
Jai's encouragement for the Armenian "I Love You" was extremely sweet.
John didn't need ANYTHING made better, if you ask me!
Well, OK, maybe his apartment needed some work.
Welcome to The FORT Jeff! Glad you decided to join us.
Oh, and yeah, I've got to mostly agree with you. Making over a former model...well, not a lot of work there.![]()
He wanted to have his sophistication level brought up closer to hers. As the FF said, he's got everything in him naturally but he's dealing with "deficient" materials.Originally Posted by Zhora
This episode was my favorite episode EVER (ok, so far...I've only seen 5 episodes
).
I was drooling at the start (the guy was FOYN), and then bawling by the end (so romantic, and his fiance seemed like such a wonderful person).
I thought it was really sweet the way John showed real gratitude and affection toward the Fab 5, especially at the end. He gave credit where credit was due--unlike in other episodes, in which some of the made-over guys hardly even mention the Fab 5, or make it seem like they did all the work. :nono
