Actually, it IS a big whoop on this show. Lying is a staple of most other reality shows, but it has no place on this one. PR has become such a long-lasting show mostly because of its reputation for integrity. It's supposed to be an honest competition, and the designers are expected to stand behind their work without whining.Originally Posted by Cairon;3706084;
It was a big deal when Keith had those design cheat books in his room in S3. It was a big deal that Kenley kept being disrespectful to the judges on the runway. A designer telling a complete lie to the judges is the biggest deal of all, especially when these things can be so easily checked on video.
Santino is the only other person I can think of who got away with lying through his teeth, during the Makeover challenge. And that's only because Kara was too beaten up and drained to call him out while she stood there in the tattered, shoddy catsuit he designed for her. If she had spoken up to the judges instead of standing there in a daze, I wonder if Santino might have gone home instead of Nick that night.
If blatant lying becomes a common thing on this show, I'll stop watching it. Because that will mean that PR has become just another crappy reality show like the rest.
