The dress did stand out from all of the thigh-high slits and cleavage. I thought it looked stunning. Especially in silhouette. I really didn't like Miss
    Switzerland's dress.

Kayne must have been over the moon watching it.

I think it was a great dress for what she wanted. Not seeing her feet at all did make her seem a bit taller. The only nit is that the sash hid part of the great detailing. Kayne should have remembered the sash!

The color was just right for her skin tone (tanned since we saw her on PR) and hair. The (would you call it a ruffle?) on the bottom that I thought would be a real problem with walking - wasn't. The dress does have a '50's sillouette (movie star red carpet) but she wore it well and she made the 5. I didn't stay up to see who won either.

    Thanks for the photo call1987

They only wore the sashes at the end, when they announced the winner. During the actual judging, they were not wearing them.

I got to see Miss USA just in time during the final judging and was very excited to see her wearing Kayne's dress.

From this picture, Miss USA looks a lot like Carrie Underwood.

Miss PR was bulging all over the place. So much for conservative dress at the pageant! Miss Japan would have gotten my vote.

I hope this next episode they show Kayne's reaction as Tarah comes on stage wearing his design on TV! What a thrill it must be to have a dress at THE pageant now, instead of "just" at the state level.

Everything up to Fashion Week and the reunion show is already in the can. The only way to get Kayne's reaction to seeing his design would be if he mentions it on one of the two last shows.

Miss Puerto Rico's dress reminded me of Michael Kors' comment during road to the runway (I think with one of Stacey's dresses); you could see what she ate for lunch.

Yes, I did notice that. A much more appropriate judge than Tom Green and Emmit Smith, though...both with no real experience in fashion or pagent-ways but both probably really horny (which definetly can't be said about Mr. Rice )
