I can't say for others, but this is my point of view over why Jesus should've been eliminated over Ping if they choose that two:Originally Posted by Cairon;3805513;
While Ping's dress is very poor (and I so hope it was a misunderstanding in communication - having had four international roommates in college from Asia, even with them speaking decent English, I can attest to this as possible) Jesus didn't properly follow the directions.
I don't think it was so much the color choice or design - I actually thought it was a nice dress. HOWEVER, the dress was supposed to be designed from a potato sack, and most of it was supposed to show. This time they were more specific on that notion unlike the wedding dress challenge last year, such as Gordana used just the lining of the dress (well, at least top) to make another dress or Irina using the lace (probably the ONE design I really liked of hers).
Given he put ribbon over the bottom half of the burlap and didn't use much of the actual fabric on TOP of the dress, he skirted the challenge. At least Ping's and the others most of the burlap was visible.
Had Jesus not tried to lessen the impact of the challenge by doing this, yes, I'd say wholeheartedly that Ping should've been eliminated over him if they were the final two in the bottom. I was surprised Pamela was eliminated though because of that very issue regarding the ribbon on the front of the dress, because while the poof at the butt was bad, she still followed the rules of the challenge.
