February 26, 2005 -- THE finale of "Project Runway" was dressed- for-success on Bravo.
Last Wednesday's two-hour finale, in which Jay McCarroll snared a victory with his Fashion Week designs, notched over 2 million viewers from 9 to 11 p.m.
That was Bravo's highest-rated show this season and was also Wednesday's top-rated prime-time cable series.
The "Runway" finale peaked with 2.5 million viewers in its final 15 minutes.
McCarroll edged out finalists Kara Saun and Wendy Pepper. As the winner, he'll have his designs photographed for Elle magazine by Gilles Bensimon and will receive $100,000 in seed money to help him launch his own designer line.
He'll also receive a mentorship from the Banana Republic design team.
