Re: New York Fashion Week Spring 09 **SPOILERS**

This season's show and finale models are much better than last season. In the shows, all the girls looked like they were roughly the same size. They didn't look like they pulled them off the street. Jillian had one lurch, one shorty Jaslene, and one no neck. Also, I didn't think about it before. But, they are running last season's marathon today. Jillian has tropical steel drum music playing while her collection of sweaters and winter clothes come out, how very incongruous. Music is part of the show. Michael Knight's music was good, even though his clothes were horrible. Same with Chloe Dao and Daniel's nemesis, what's his face. His models were off but his music where he sang was good.

Jeffrey also used the music from his band Lifter.

You mean second episode. My 2 favorites were at the bottom, Wesley(because he worked for Marc Jacobs) and Leanne (because the designs of hers they showed on the 1st episode resembled Marc Jacobs' aesthetic).

Re: New York Fashion Week Spring 09 **SPOILERS**

I saw the part where Heidi explains about the empty judge chair and how JLo hurt her foot. And when Tim Gunn came out, he explained that he has to be impartial because he has seen the collections (during his visits) and so basically, there is no 4th judge. And Suede's real name is Stephen Baum. And I'm almost sure that the 3 girls are the final 3 since they were the final 3 to show.

Apparently Heidi is so pissed at JLo that her & Seal were to attend some exclusive event that JLo was sponsoring or promoting, and they now refuse to go.

Well, Jlo apparently ran in a marathon a couple days laters, so her foot couldn't have been THAT bad. Plus you can always hobble around on crutches and get some sympathetic press that way.

I lost me some respect for Jlo.

btw, Hutchlover, LOVE LOVE LOVE your Avatar!!!! is that a recent photo?

Re: New York Fashion Week Spring 09 **SPOILERS**

I just saw the pictures of Jlo on dlisted having completed her triathalon. JLo Actually Did It | Dlisted

There's no way the foot excuse wasn't a deliberate snub. If she were truly trying to back out gracefully, there are a dozen more legitimate sounding lies that would have covered her, but an injured foot - which she could have used crutches for, as someone else pointed out - mere days before she entered a triathalon is flipping Project Runway the bird.

Re: New York Fashion Week Spring 09 **SPOILERS**

I don't get the love for JLo. She was probably picked to be a judge because of an Elle tie-in (because she's got the October 08 cover and an editorial). She hasn't done anything recently. I would have loved Keira or Mary-Kate. I guess only celebrities who are idle are possible judges (like Posh) and that's where JLo comes in again. What about Winona Ryder? She hasn't done anything recently either but she's very NY, JLo is more LA, not that there's anything wrong with it. Not just my cup of tea.

No ManySkills, it's from about 1991. But it's a great pic of the guys, so I use it occassionally.
