With a unique eye for details, Jerrell's designs are intricate and creative. Jerrell found his passion for fashion by way of modeling. The former model admits to not being able to afford "the cool stuff" in his early career, and so he taught himself how to make what he wanted to wear. He describes himself as eclectic and bold and wants to create pieces that express people's individualities. Inspired by life, Jerrell classifies his designs as "raw beauty."

Well, one good thing I can say about his outfit is that it's...creative.

Nothing personal against the guy... I'm sure he's a cool dude whom I'd love to sit down and talk shop with, but... really... That outfit looks like he had to get creative with the rejects from a Salvation Army store!

That's no way to make a good first impression as a designer!

I laughed so hard when he told Stella "Gurl, you better take those cheap bags and start draping that manniquin and make SOMETHING!" I think it helped Stella too, because she was able to snap out of panic mode and at least come up with SOMETHING.

I Think it was the right thing for her to hear at that moment; it got her into gear.

That was a funny moment. I think it helped her from getting eliminated.
