Well, I like him. I was not surprised to see him go, however. His creations were a disappointment. There is nothing wrong in not liking to design clothes for heavy women. Just not his thing. I think I would find it limiting, as well. That is not a big deal to me. I don't like to paint with acrylics or cook without fat. My preference.

I was surprised to see him fall so far so fast. But I'd still love to have him dress me. I'm sure he could whip up some killer eveningwear.

According to Tim's podcast Vincent's sister was "intractable" about what should would & would not wear- Robert knew if he did what he wanted she wouldn't wear it.

So who is at fault? Robert for pleasing his customer?
I think Jeff should have gone since his outfit was basically the look she walked in with (seriously check out the photos on the Bravo site) which he twisted into a dress & on top of that he fought with his client and did what he wanted and still it was hideous. I could understand the llook if it was what she wanted with his vision tweaking it but that was all him, yuck.

Very cool look...although I do want to point out that Alexander McQueen's 2006 Winter collection looked exactly like this (inspiration being Tippi Hedren, Kim Novak and all the other Hitchcock blondes).

Brown tweed, with gold accents and pale blue gloves? Maybe OK for Barbie but on a life size model - it would be a hot mess, IMO.
