    giggle... Flava Flav meats Hellboy.

I actually liked the show this week, although little Miss/Mister Austin Scarlett is going to drive me batty with those pursed, lipstick-covered lips. Sheesh.

I loved Austin's! When he first finished it, I was like, "OOh, that's BEAUTIFUL."

Very surprised by who was eliminated...don't agree with it at all.

Ahh! I totally agree. I just wish he would have put it in the refrigerator, because it looked even better when he had just finished it.

Austin's dress was really fresh, when it was "fresh". Refrigeration and perhaps some Fruit Fresh™ might have helped it last longer. I loved Nora's Lawn chair dress. I agree with the judges that some of then could have done less with their dresses and been more successful. Starr's just had too much going on. Daniel, poor Daniel. His Butcher paper coat was great, but the judges really didn't like that he used trash bags to make the dress. I don't know, did they find it too easy (or just too much of a social comment on the fashion industry). The design of it was nice, but maybe if he had done it with white bags instead of black.

Just in case anyone missed the show.... all of the *dresses* are on their website today. This first one is Robert's, but the rest are all to the left.

What impressed me with the show is the quality/ the feel of it. After watching Gilligan's Island then this you can feel the difference, the production values etc...

The other thing that impressed me was the models. The example of how to walk given by the models at the 'get to know you party' was amazing. I am sorry but the girls on ANTM just don't cut it. That and the way they peeled down to nothing in the workroom. These girls are stick thin (its a little scary).

I think I understand why the designer who went, did go. If you listen to the judges he took the easy way out and they have seen the garbage bag dress before and it was passe. If he had done something different such as weave black and white bags together into a bodice or entire fitted dress that would have been better and very wearable. The butcher bag coat sucked if it had been a fitted short vest or jacket or bodice ok but it did nothing for the girl at all.

But all in all I think this show will be a winner and show the public what a quality show looks like.
