    Daniel - Mr. Hollywood

    http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway

Q:How would you describe your design philosophy or point of view?
I practice "synesthesia," the visualization of color through sound. My clothes create an emotional response with the wearer and viewer.

Q:What would someone close to you describe as your best and worst traits?
My enthusiasm is my best trait. I am an eternal optimist. My worst is the "dreamer" in me. I run with my imagination.

Q:What was your most embarrassing moment?
Pretending to be a fully religious minister, performing a wedding.

Q:What is an odd fact or talent you possess?
I can sing rock 'n roll karaoke. I own a wedding chapel.

Q:Who are the designers you admire most?
I admire Karl Lagerfeld (genius) and Alexander McQueen (original).

Q:What are your favorite fashion magazines?
W, Harper's Bazaar, Flaunt, WWD, Vogue, The Face, Elle Decor, and Time!

Q:What are your favorite TV shows?
The Apprentice and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

    Q:What are your favorite movies?
North By Northwest (Grant, so stylish and cool), Barry Lyndon (a portal to the 17th Century), The Godfather (the American dilemma).

Q:If you could design an outfit for any living person, who would be your dream client and why?
I would love to design clothing for David Bowie. Because he is so conceptual in approaching music and fashion. He is the first to synthesize the modern elements of design & music (art, fashion, architecture, sound, irony, pluralism, images, literature) and do so in a consistent singular vision and voice.

Seems like "The Professional" was more "Hollywood" than this guy. Don't know what else to say about this one yet.

I like the red music the best.

Synesthesia sounds like synthetic anesthesia - his clothes put you to sleep?

Owning a wedding chapel must come in handy performing those fake "fully religious minister" ceremonies.

He [David Bowie]is the first to synthesize the modern elements of design & music (art, fashion, architecture, sound, irony, pluralism, images, literature) and do so in a consistent singular vision and voice.
    What is this guy smoking?

He looks like vintage 80's era Cure. I am sorry he got cut, though he didn't really show much innovation in his design. It was very nice looking, just not all that original.

LOVE the way he finished that jacket.

Oh Daniel, we hardly knew ye. I actually think, based on the designs we saw Wed., that Wendy or Starr should have been cut first. I was curious to see what more Daniel could've produced.
