Dream Team got to pick 2 members from KIR to even out the numbers. They picked Stanley (organization & direction skills) and Leyana (youthful, feminine eye, speaks up).
Team KIR got to poach one Dream Team member in return -- they picked Michelle.

At last~ Dream Team WINS!
However, Keeping it Real gets high praise, too, so they didn't lose -- they just came in 2nd.
One of them will be going home.
To a man on the team, Amanda seems to be the weakest link. And I must say -- she is taking all the criticism with much style and class.

Impossible things are being done every day.
Even though everyone pretty much hung Amanda out to dry, the Judges' better senses prevailed (including Guest Judge, The Divine Miss M -- Bette Midler!) and...
JOE was sent packing.
His "futuristic"dress(?)coat(?)jacket(?) really was darn fugly.

Ooops! I forgot to say who the winner of this challenge was!
From Dream Team, CONGRATULATIONS to SAMANTHA!![]()

I don't think Joe had a prayer of making it too the end. He was just too far "out there". I'm not a big Amanda fan, but I did feel bad for her when everyone hung her out to dry. It only took one person to speak up and everyone jumped on board.
The preview for next week makes it look like EVERYONE has a meltdown!![]()
I am impressed with almost everyone on both teams! I thought Amanda nailed the 60's. I liked that dress.
This was the best odd material challenge I have ever seen.
I did not like Patricia or Joe's work. The right person was sent packing.
So nice to have this show back on track. I am looking forward to their individual work though.

Patricia's was horrendous. I thought she should have been in the bottom. Amanda struggled with the challenge and she was vocal about struggling, but her creation was superior to Patricia's. At least it appeared she had a garment in mind. Patricia's looked like she strung some stuff on a yard sale purchase and sent it down the runway and called it art. Yeah....no.
On Team Keeping It Real - I felt the cupcake dress was the ONLY one that looked like it was made of fabric and not flowers. The others were either ill fitted, looked too much like the original item or BOTH.
Out of the bottom two, Joe was the right one to go home - that dress looked incomplete as well as fitting poorly. Amanda's was boxy, but it wasn't as bad. I kinda liked Patricia's but she was saved because everyone ganged up on Amanda.
Dream Team's was cohesive and overall much better fitted. I loved the one who used mesh and leaves to create a print and the bird's nest one. Ben's was nice but I do think it was a bit of a huge risk to do any type of intricate weaving.
I'm glad Amanda did not go home, because I don't think her dress was the worst. I thought both Patricia's and Joe's were awful.
I didn't really like the winning creation; I liked Leyana's best but I find I'm not liking her very much.
