The team thing isn't as bad as I had originally thought it would be. Not bad. I agree that the designers will have to work with others in the fashion industry and this is good practice.
No favorites yet but I think so far, it seems like a good cast.

Impossible things are being done every day.
What I appreciated was that even though the same panel of judges as last season chose the finalists, they chose well this year. One example is the "artist" Rebecca. Previous "artists" on the show have been visionary, on the fly - no patterns, no thought, just where their whim went. Of course they didn't last long. Rebecca, however, is a classical designer in that she knows the craft, and when her vision is found (as in the windows - which also fascinate me) she knows how to put it together.
I'm happy to see a group that knows their way around patterning and sewing.

I've posted "Team" threads, listing each designer and linking to their Lifetime bio pages, and their Twitter accounts (for those who have one). You can treat these like our noirmal designer bio threads, to discuss specific designers and share links to articles about them.

Emily might have more potential than she showed in this episode but you need to produce something that looks like you should be on PR.
What on earth did she so w/all her time? Especially since Cindy made the skirt for her??
seemed like all she did was put pins in that jacket-y thing.
But like all the other posters, FINALLY a good episode of PR ...like it used to be.
I was also pleasantly surprised by this first episode. I was glad Emily was the one to go. Her team told her to focus on the dress before the jacket because she couldn't send a model down the runway in just a jacket and she chose not to listen.
Is this on Lifetime? Does anybody know if they repeat the show later in the week?
I always love the marathons of the old show on Style, must have been the Bravo Years? I would love to watch again, as I loved Tim and Heidi. It wouldn't be the same without them. I am not sure I get Lifetime. Does anybody know if there's anyplace to watch the episodes online?
TIA!
They show repeats prior to the air time of the new show on Thursdays.

Lilymax, I watch on Hulu but I think it connects right to Lifetime. (And just checked, it looks like full episodes are available on their website.)
