Hmm, I did reply to you, Pikachu, but it looks like it didn't post. what I said was that I think I'll keep Droppa around for at least one more Survivor.

I chose "Holding Pattern" here 'cause I wanted to combine fashion runway with airport runway. Maybe I should have picked "Landing Strip." Might save that one for the next go-round.

As folks shared their picks for this pool, I did a little tally sheet of how often designers were selected. (Yes, I know - I'm a dork. It's just the kind of stuff I do.)
Now, I didn't track WHO picked which designers, but it appears JAMES(as an Apprentice) and MICHAEL(as a Reserve) are the only two selected by one person and no one else.

Of course I could have made mistakes. (Also the kind of stuff I do.)
I'm sure Pikachu will chime in with more specifics.

Welcome back to the Project Runway pool veterans and thanks for joining us to the pool newcomers! It looks like this will be a very interesting season of the show with the teams twist.

I have to start off this pool recap with a story: a Tale of Two Designers. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. It was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair. It was the designer who won the challenge, it was the designer who was auf’d.

One pool team, Bridesmaid in Taffeta, had both the winning designer on their team (as their master designer no less!) and the losing designer. They didn’t come in first this week because the negative points from losing James negated some of the points they won from Layana but I felt they deserved special recognition for this feat.

Another notable pool team this week dwells in a Bleak House. They also had James on their team and his ouster, along with Benjamin’s poor score, cost them the points they won from their other designers. LaLaLa Experience sadly starts the first leg of the pool with a goose egg. Let’s hope that goose lays a golden egg for them next week.

Clustered at the top of the pool, Cats Meow, Dream Weavers, and Holding Pattern have nothing but Great Expectations! Holding Pattern deserves special recognition because they were the only team who earned points from every one of their designers. They had no designers who lost points this week. Amazing!

Just below the top of the pack, Team Enjoyment is waiting for her Romeo.

Bridesmaid in Taffeta, DananTrish Designs, and the Wooden Stiletto sing Christmas carols, knowing there is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.

Potato Sacks, Red Lobster Biscuits, and Runway Diva are hoping for David Copperfield to wave a magic wand and trot them further up the leaderboard.

Muslin Wrap, tired of sitting in the workroom, approaches Tim Gunn shakily and pleads, “Plese sir, I want some more” but he tells them they must wait until next week to get more points.

Hard Times are upon The Gunn Show and they make it through the week just barely above last-ranked team, LaLaLa Experience.

The trio with the highest weekly scores, Cats Meow, Dream Weavers, Holding Pattern, get to play at Spin, the social ping-pong club! LaLaLa Experience, the lowest scoring team, will be your ball girl.
