Episode 7

All but two pool teams had Benjamin so there were many reserve designers put into play this week. DananTrish Designs, PotatoSacks, Red Lobster Biscuits and The Gunn Show set Tu to work, Dream Weavers and Team Enjoyment took Patricia off the bench, Muslin Wrap added Michelle to their roster, Runway Diva brought Amanda to the workroom, Cats Meow added Samantha to their team, and The Wooden Stiletto put Stanley into play.

Only three pool teams have a reserve designer left—Holding Pattern (Michelle), PotatoSacks (Stanley), and Runway Diva (Layana).

Dream Weavers inched ahead of Holding Pattern to take the top spot on the leaderboard solo. Holding pattern isn’t too far off from them in second place, only separated by 20 points. Cats Meow had a less than stellar week but still managed to hold their spot in third place. Bridesmaid in Taffeta had a good week and moved up to fourth place. Team Enjoyment also crept up the leaderboard, jumping over The Wooden Stiletto and DananTrish Designs to get to fifth place. DananTrish Designs lost points from Daniel, Richard, and Tu, dropping them down to sixth place. The Wooden Stiletto fell even further, placing at seventh this week. Red Lobster Biscuits had the negative distinction of having both eliminated designers on their team (Tu just added this week!) and got the lowest weekly score, dropping from fourth place to eighth. Boy, are their biscuits burning! Runway Diva is right alongside them, also in eighth place. Muslin Wrap moved up the leaderboard to join PotatoSacks at ninth place. LaLaLa Experience moved out of last place from last week to end in tenth place this week. And the Gunn Show closed the show in last place.

Dream Weavers got the highest weekly score! Their reward is to be crowned Prom Queen and get a night out with their sweetie, which includes $300 for a new evening dress, dinner at the restaurant of their choice, limo service, and a corsage.

Red Lobster Biscuits got the lowest weekly score so all they get is a year’s supply of duct tape.

Thanks so much for your kind words, DreamWeavers/Cubsfan. I won't be at all surprised if you remain in front of me. I choose my team from a combination of designers whose work I find okay and whose attitudes and personalities I don't hate. That doesn't make for a strong team generally, but it's what I do since I really don't much care for current fashion. I've always loved long gowns and hated short skirts, which came to fashion in my young days and I didn't like them even then. Have to admit I like really feminine clothing.

So, congratulations to you and good wishes for the rest of the pool. Pikachu's pools are such fun and the main reason I even watch some of the shows. Doing well is just a plus.

I didn't realize I hadn't done pool results last week until I went to do scores this week. I'm very sorry about that! I guess I had too much going on. I'll get last week's scores done and posted and then get this week's scores posted.

In the future, if one of you wants to give me a nudge if pool scores haven't been posted by Monday, that would help me stay on track!

Only one pool team had Kate on their roster (Red Lobster Biscuits) and eight pool teams included Tu. Of those, only one team still had a reserve designer left. PotatoSacks put Stanley into play to replace Tu. Holding Pattern and Runway Diva are the only teams with a reserve designer remaining.

We have a new team at the top of the leaderboard! Holding Pattern got enough extra points from their reserve player, Michelle, to jump ahead of Dream Weavers. There’s not much of a gap between them so it’s still anyone’s game.

With all reserve players used and the end of the season so near, we could start seeing big changes in the leaderboard starting next week.
