Welcome to everyone who joined the pool! It will be interesting to see who made the best selections in choosing their teams. A few designers stand out as favorites because they were picked by many teams – Ven (chosen by EVERY team!), Christopher, Dmitry, Nathan, and Sonjia. Where teams can differentiate themselves from other teams and have an opportunity to move ahead is when they choose lesser picked designers. Only one team chose Elena, Melissa, and Raul. Two teams chose Alicia, Andrea, and Buffi.

This week, Nathan was the first one Tim spoke to in the workroom.
Gunnar was the first designer to show on the runway.
Alicia, Andrea, Christopher, Dmitry, Fabio, Kooan, Melissa, Nathan, and Raul were declared safe.
Ven was declared the winner.
The judges also liked Sonjia and Gunnar.
They didn’t like Elena.
Buffi was in the bottom two.
And Lantie was out.

From Tim's comments I was scared that Elena (my main designer) was going to be 'auffed'. Did anyone have Lantie on their team?

The only way I could consider letting you in is if everyone else in the pool is ok with it and you would have to start off with a penalty for starting late.

I sent a private message to the pool participants and will let you know what is decided.

I guess I am OK with it since you allowed me in late. This reminds me so much of my fantasy football league where everybody wants in after the 3rd week when they see which teams are good & which aren't although I do think NFL1 should have to help me clean up AZ Christian's candy wrappers

NFL1... You're in! Welcome to the pool! You'll start with a balance of -10 points but if you chose your team wisely, you can make that up quickly.

I'll update my spreadsheet and we'll be ready to go on Thursday!

Thanks so much everyone...I've enjoyed playing guessing for Idol and others...I think I sent my team names that I could think of with my request...and wouldn't want to switch now that I am IN, I'd probably read the bios and make bad decisions, so going with the names I could think of is fine!

Just had a chance to catch up on this thread. I guess I can't complain about the lack of a huge cash prize since I'm literally at this moment on a cruise ship in the process of docking in Anchorage. I'm just really excited to be in the lead on the pool. I'm usually really bad at this type of thing!!!
