I think that's just the way the models were walking. I think if the pictures were of the models with their feet together, the zipper would be straight. I think that, if the zippers were really angled, the judges might have said something.Originally Posted by Allie

Looking again, you are probably right on that, Critical. But I still don't like the zipper all the way down the dress like that so many times. I Like Dmitry, but I want more from him in his designs. they are nice. But I don't know. Something seems missing.
Project Runway Auction
The bid on Dmitry's dress (which did not win) is currently $455. The bid on Christopher's dress - which did win - is only $205.
Episode 8 - The designers were divided into three teams of three. They had to do fundraising in the park to get materials this week and could sell t-shirts or tote bags decorated with paint, glitter, and sparkles, or give fashion advice, do alterations, etc. With their earnings, they had to make two Fall outfits, one of which must include outerwear.
Dmitry designed this dress and shawl. Alicia and Elena worked together on the other outfit.
I really did not think the shawl was all that bad. Maybe it's because I'm the "old lady" the judges had in mind or maybe it's because where I live, the temperatures are suited for just such an item.
Dmitry's facial expressions in the early part of the show were almost as expressive as Christopher's usually are. I pity anyone who has to be on the same team with Elena. All the while Alicia was trying to get her point across, Elena is yelling that no one is listening to her. Oh, the irony!
Episode 9 - This week was an HP & Intel print challenge. The designers were to create a textile inspired by their culture heritage and incorporate it into a modern runway look. They were given $100 to buy accessory fabrics.
If you are voting for Dmitry in the FAN FAVORITE poll, he is currently less than 200 votes behind Alicia (who occupies the 5th place spot). Now would be a good time to get those votes in.
