What have you been up to since your time on Project Runway?
The few years since the show have been filled with amazing opportunities. I did a collection of limited-edition garments with my husband, artist Sage Vaughn. I also did a lot of traveling and speaking engagements as a direct result of the show. Then last year I decided to go back to work designing. I then made a big decision and went to makeup school. I am now doing makeup for TV and film, and I absolutely love it.

What do you think you are best remembered for from your season?
I think people remember me for pulling out a great look when it looked like I wouldn't. Also for being a nice person.

She probably got the speaking engagements because of her down to earth nice personality. I just want her to move away from the frump and create something truly elegant, just once. Good for her on the career change - an artist adapts.

Sorry to see her go. She is NOT my favorite designer, but I like her much more than 2 or 3 others who are still on the show. Two bad dresses back to back did her in.
