I loved the outfit Mondo designed but I think I would have paired it with a black t-shirt instead. The striped shirt he designed would look great with a pair of skinny jeans.

Now his own personal outfit...kind of reminded me of Pinocciho.

Did any of you see Michael Kors' Spring 2011 Collection? Personally I am on a constant quest to find affordable Michael Kors clothes. I call it "Korsing" & personally think it should be reconized as a sport. This collection is ...eye openning to say the least. There were probably only 3-4 items that were office appropiate. There were way too many nearly naked boobs for my taste.

I found the judges absolutely hysterical last night. I actually laughed out loud a few times. Still hate, hate mean Ivy. Was so waiting for her to do bad yesterday. Aside from the awful length of the pants, it was pretty darn good.

Gretchen started off the season, I thought, fairly good. Now she just has a snotty attitude and her designs lately have been just totally boring and old, in my opinion. Since Tim yelled at her, she hasn't been as vocal, but you know she's still as snotty as before. I wish she would get knocked down a peg or four.

I, too, am wondering who, other than Mondo, is going to the finals. I am totally unimpressed with just about everyone. If Gretchen goes, they will never find a door big enough to get her head in.

If Gretchen would lose the camel colors and Valerie the burgandy, they might make something winnable in challenges.

I'm glad Mondo won. Tim was surprised he was able to find the over-sized plaid-type print in Mode. If the print had been smaller, it wouldn't have worked. I also loved his shorts outfit on the Runway show...he said his inspiration was the Cotton Club (Harlem) but I also saw Pinocchio.

I also loved the asymmetrical line that Ivy used...but agree that I didn't see what I would term high class sportswear in any of the designs. I would think they would place a Jackie type at the country club for a round of golf or lunch after tennis. Anyway, I agree with the winner and the aufee.

I agree, Gretchen's colors are horrible. It's not the 70s! When she did that horrible Camel Menswear it's like she got stuck there.

What happened to the judges? So mean too. "Schizophrenic Jackie - old lady on top, cheerleader on bottom.", "MC Hammer meets Beverly Hillbillies grandmother.", "That not a good design makes.", "Total train wreck.", "Shoulder toilet seat cover."

Nearly naked boobs? There was nothing like that! You watchin a different show? But most were not office wear.

The judges were on a roll last night. LOL

Totally loved Mondo's design and thought he was the clear winner. He bridged the gap between using Jackie O/Kennedy as the muse and his own POV. Well deserved win.

I don't understand how Gretchen's fugly wear keeps ending up in the middle. She and Valerie are both stuck in their mode and don't seem willing to budge. I hope they are both aufed soon.

I loved Mondo's design. I thought it was something I could have seen Jackie wearing and I really loved everything about it. I don't usually like the pairing of 2 prints together but these worked well together. I loved the purple lining in the jacket. You couldn't even see it until taking it off but then it helped draw the whole look together. I thought he was deserving of the win. As the judges said the clear winner.

Whew. Finally found my log-in password.

Sooo. Totally agree on the winner. It wasn't even a contest. Ivy did turn out her best to date. I would wear that blouse. But I disliked the coat.

I just shook my head when Michael C had that fabric out and was looking at it and Gretchen came over and said that she was using that. You don't have a hand on it, too bad.

I think Michael D hit the nail on the head when he talked about the snobbery. Maybe that's why G and I rub me the wrong way. I've worked with people who have a pedigree and look down upon those who do not have that (be it a family name or prestigious college or what have you). I've also worked with people who love to throw around terms but are unable to explain something in their own words. They love those nickel words.

But then, I've also met people who, if I were in their shoes, deserve a brag or two. I met a woman who said she went to a nice trade school ... Juilliard.

The judges were on crack again. I think Andy should have been in the bottom 2 instead of Val. They said that she missed the mark but not by much. Andy TOTALLY missed the mark! I agree that the design is totally him but it's like he didn't even care about the challenge. He was on a different planet and they even said it was a total wreck. I really thought he will be bottom 2 after that comment by Michael Kors. I figured it was Nina who fought for Andy because they want to see more from him. Among the 2 designs, Jackie O would rather wear Valerie's creation because it's more conservative. In fact, Valerie should not even be in the bottom 3. Michael C. made a cocktail dress that looked slutty which Jackie O would never wear!

    The judges were HILARIOUS!

"I wanted to take a risk"
    "Oh you took a risk!"

Andy getting knocked a peg down was good television, he had it coming.

I just want to know who deemed palazzo pants as an okay to come back from early 90s fashion. Unless you're over 6 feet tall or a professional cello player, they look ridiculous.

Mondo was the clear winner from the get-go. He got the sportswear idea--separates that work together, aren't too formal, and can be worn with other things. Valerie was nearly there, but had the wrong fabric choices. I didn't think her look was as bad as the judges made it out to be.

As for Lifetime's lack of re-airing, it is, as Mags225 said, online at the Lifetime site. That's how I watched it when my DVR failed me...and with fewer ads, so that's cool by me.
