I don't know why a lot here don't love Jay's clothes. That last one, had he done it with a Balmain shoulder, would have knocked out Emilio's Lacroix-Ungaro copy. I definitely see the ringmaster in that ensemble. What was Emilio's inspired by, the tent? And which fashionista would wear Mila's coat? I can see Leigh Lezark or maybe Lisa Airan rocking Jay's look. Mila's looked like it came from the broadway show Wicked.
I actually loved Jay's coat - but I can see where they said the rest of it was a little bit too simple. In this level of the competition, he needed to just push the envelope a bit more. IMHO, had he done it where you could wear the coat open or closed and it still have that feel of the circus glamor, I think he'd edged out against Mila's interesting, but one note designs.Originally Posted by watts;3875835;
Hopefully they didn't decide to have the walkoff because they wanted to give Mila a chance to have a woman in the final three. If they were going to do that they should've just given her the final three nod then.
I LOVE Jay's designs. He's a few bomb but the ones I like (nearly all) are absolutely gorgeous.Originally Posted by watts;3875835;
