Just wondering, what was Maya's shift made from? The jacket was cord, the neckpiece from screen and keys, but what was the dress made from?

watts - Maya's dress was made from paint tray liners.

Finally got to watch this episode, and I liked Emilio's creation. But then, I like that whole late '60s early '70s hippie, macrame look. And I've never liked Jesse. Maybe it's the way he kept punching his fist into his hand while partnered with Ping. He just strikes me as a nasty personality. Glad he's gone, and his nasty model with him.

I like Jay. I hope he makes final three.

I would have liked it if Emilio had owned up to his deficiencies and said that he worked with what he had rather than trying to make them think he was going in the bikini direction the whole time. He does realize this is a reality show with cameras whirring, doesn't he? I understand why he stayed over Jesse...at least they didn't think the bikini was boring.

I marvel at how Jay modeled those pants - as I marvel at how all of them were able to create something out of nothing in 12 hours. Good on them.

I think I now have true favorites for final three - Jay, Amy and Seth Aaron. I realize Mila is a super designer and will probably win the whole shebang, but I happen to like the aesthetic from the other three more.

I'm just saying that even before the show started, I posted somewhere that these 3 were my final 3 picks and with Jay winning. I've done the same with Christian Siriano, Keanne Marshall, and Sunny Fong of PR Canada (before their seasons started).

Oh, I see. Yeah if I had to pick a winner right now it would probably be Jay as well.

I bet that the next show will have the designers waking up and discussing how Emilio should have been eliminated granted he did the worst. And maybe someone would even say something about him lying to the judges. Just a hunch...

If you watch the designers video blogs alot of them were saying that they thought Emilio should have gotten eliminated this week

watts --- Maya said her shift was made of screen, the open-weave coat from chicken wire (wrapped with cord ?), and the necklace from the keys/screen as you said, but I believe she said the chain of the necklace was a dog collar.

It worked, though - the guest judge totally fell for it. Maybe if fashion doesn't work out Emilio has a future as a publicist/spin doctor.

Emilio is gone for me...I didn't like Jesse either, but at least he covered his model! Like the travesty of a nude model wearing a sheer "gown" was NOT sent home last year? I guess we should have expected it.

I didn't think he had one either, but he actually made a really small bracelet.
