This was probably the worst season of PR so far. Having said, that, it was twice as good as The Fashion Show.
I love Isaac Mizrahi, but as host and judge on this show I couldn't stand him. He was bitchy, petty, and treated the designers badly. The challenges weren't as interesting, the production values were cheap, and poor Kelly Rowland had no defined role as co-host other than to sit there and nod while Isaac blathered.
The point of the show was making ready-to-wear clothing. ”Real life. Real people. Real fashion.” So what were designers like Merlin, James-Paul and Johnny D doing on the show? They wouldn't know RTW fashion (or real life) if it smacked them in the face. There were so many wrong-headed things about the way the show was set up, I kind of hope there is no second season.
As for PR, besides Bunim-Murray needing to lighten their touch, I think the biggest problem with season 6 was moving the show to LA. That will already be fixed since season 7 has already been filmed back at Parsons in NYC. I didn't care much for this season, but I haven't given up on the show yet.

You cant go wrong with a designer named Merlin (the magician). Every reality show is gonna have some faults but for me TFS faults were forgivable and seeing Fern Mallis & Issac MizRo more than made up for everything else. Tim Gunn was the only saving grace on this season of PR.
