Going back over the pics that have been posted (a welcome addition to be sure), I still like Carol Hannah's dress the best. Nicholas did alright on this challenge too. Christina is almost 30, but still in great shape so she's "young" enough to wear it well. Liked Gordana's dress too, but I don't think it really fit the challenge.

Carol Hannah's dress was very good but a long gown. CA has always performed in short outfits, dresses.Originally Posted by Socks77;3729238;
I second that thank you!! I cannot stand Irina!Originally Posted by Arielflies;3729134;
I was sad to see Shirin go. I think she seemed sweet and I was hoping that she would do better, but I cannot argue with the decision because that dress was just not good.
Irina is a bitch, the way she talks about other people. Can't she keep her mouth glued.
Carol Hannah and Logan, think they have a crush on each other, not just Carol Hannah on Logan. Cute.
No, that was Nolan Miller. Off the top of my head, Bob Mackie was the costume creator for:Originally Posted by french dip;3731201;

- That godawful Star Wars Christmas Special
- Lady Sings the Blues
- probably every single "TV Special" that aired from 1975-90 too, lol!

I LOVED Carol Hannah's dress - I thought it was gorgeous and intricate, as well as exquisitely made. What it was not, however, was a performance dress, unless she was doing the power ballad thing. I think that's what made this challenge hard - a lack of opportunity to really figure out what Christina wanted in a performance costume, which is probably where Christopher fell through. His idea in general was really good - the reveal, the corset top, the shorts - but they were pretty poorly constructed and he could have definitely done more to make it unique. I also agree that Shirin's dress would have been so much better off with a shorter skirt, although probably still not very Christina.
I want Irina to go home SO BAD.
I was talking to my sister today, the original PR fan in the house and longtime follower of all things film/fashion.
She said the small print in the credits for PR indicates the PRODUCERS decide who is top and bottom 3, not the judges.
She's really put off by this and if it's true, I am, too.
Been saying this in other shows' forums - the amount of producer/editor interference in "REALITY" TV is turning me off more and more.
My reaction with Gordana and the beading was that she didn't understand how beaded/sequined fabric was constructed. I can't remember for beading, for sure, so someone help me out if I'm wrong, but I know for sequined fabric, each row of sequins is stitched together in one long stitch. If you cut through the stitch, the whole row unravels unless you secure the end sequin(s).
When I worked in a fabric store during my college days *cough* years ago, we'd always have to secure the area to be cut with masking tape before we took the shears to them.
