Mitchel''s caftan was not a good idea...but at least someone's design was uglier. However, I was surprised that he didn't do something with opening the seams of the dress and putting in a see through panel along the sides. That might was been bretter received than the whole thing being see through
I do have go negative on Heidi's comment that there are no excuses in PR. She blithely dismissed the problem with the model's measurements by saying that models do it all the time. I would think that somebody during the PR "go-see" made an error in recording the measurements. I would think that the measurements--which are so important-- would be checked and not just the prepared picture/statistic card relied upon.
A real designer using a model for his show would not be so casual about the model not fitting into the dress....and if this happened to a number of designers, don't you think it would be reported back to the agency and the card would be revised?? Sorry Heidi, you may know modeling, but I have trouble believing this
